We LOVE the kids Bentgo boxes! We’ve owned 3 for my 3 kids for the past 2.5 years! One son has used it daily for about 2 years for school lunches. The other 2 kids use them a lot too, oftentimes with the plastic snap cover I got off amazon. (The covers that come with them are watertight, the plastic snap-ons are not. But work great for home use.). None of ours are even close to wearing out, but we would happily repurchase if needed. As is, it seems they will last forever.
I have 2 of these for my kindergartner and we love them. I wish they were dishwasher safe but I understand why not – would mess up the seals. We rotate between these and 2 thermos containers. Looks small but fits enough for our daughter and she’s an eater.

Are these insulated at all? Or any sort of ice pack that comes with them?
No, there is no insulation on or in these boxes. I picked up some slim plastic freezer packs to put into the container bag I purchased to carry the Bentgo box. Hope that helps!

I just bought one of these. Love it, but what do you guys use to carry them in? It won’t fit in my daughter’s lunchbox.
The whole system is pretty bulky. In the classic PB kids lunchbox they barely fit and can’t really get much of an ice pack in w them. They do organize and hold a decent amount for a preschooler/young student. Last year because of the PB lunchbox situation, I often just used the insert and clear lid to have a little more space.
These don’t hold up for more than 3 months. I hadn’t washed mine only and it still fell apart 3 months later.

Did you mean you handwashed only?
We just purchased the unicorn one, used five days at camp for 6 year old. My 6 year old eats a lot and I there’s not enough room for her portions. Would have been great when she was a toddler.
So far it’s a great seal and no seepage into other compartments.
