NFL Sunday Ticket TV Subscription Deal for College Students | Only $19.99/Month
Calling all college students!
For a limited time, DirecTV is offering their NFL Sunday Ticket TV Subscription for just $19.99 per month for up to four months for college students when you use promo code BACKTOSCHOOL at checkout.
This seems like a HOT deal as this subscription is regularly over $293 per season!
The NFL Sunday Ticket TV Subscription allows you to watch out-of-market Sunday regular season NFL games! Even better, you don’t need a DirecTV subscription or cable package to watch the games as they can be streamed on select media devices such as the Roku, Chromecast and more!
Note that not all colleges qualify for this discount – head here to see if your college is eligible!
Is there a way to record the games?
Good question. I did find this in the details –
” Non-domestic/Non-Canadian markets should be able to download games on iOS and Android this season, to our current knowledge. This is subject to change in the run up to the season. Please first reach out to your respective app store support team in case of any problem downloading.”
Hope that helps!
Yes you can record games! We’ve had the nfl Sunday ticket since 2006.
Thanks so much for the helpful comment, Ginger! Good to know!
I tried this last year and it was different than the Sunday ticket that came with direct tv. It was an app that you could access on your phone or roku, not channels that you could access (usually in the 700s). Is it different this year? They didn’t let us refund it last year and we didn’t get to use it for a single game since my husband is a pastor and we start the games late.
My husband was just asking about signing up for cable to watch football this year, so this is perfect! Thanks so much!
Yay! You’re SO welcome, Melissa!
Would this work with amazon streaming device? If it does, we could use our son’s account if his school is eligible. Gracias.
I have had the worse issues with Sunday Ticket for the last two years. You will not get all the games even if they’re out of market bc “NFL can prohibit games.” Then there’s the issue of the channels having an “error”. It was so bad that I was able to get a refund bc I was calling and emailing them every Sunday.
I paid for this service and it still tell me i can’t access it because i Don’t have direct TV. But don’t need it with university Sunday ticket. It has an 800 number on the screen to call. I call. They say they can’t help and transfer and i got transferred 5 times and given numbers that don’t work. Finally had to put in a dispute with PayPal to get my money back. So good luck with this crappy service and direct tv crappy customer service.
