Random question-are the banana pods flexible? Bananas come in so many curvy configurations that I can’t imagine standing over dozens of bananas trying to find ones that fit the pod???

    • BethS

No, they don’t. I saw these in the store last week and was very excited about the prospect of keeping bananas bruise-free in packed lunches. But when I realized the bananas in my cart couldn’t fit well in the banana pod, my excitement was quickly crushed. So close but not quite there yet!

OK, so I’m not the only one wondering this? lol

I don’t recommend the banana holder, it’s not flexible. Luckily I found it on clearance at Kroger for $1.

Darn! Thanks so much for the honest feedback, Kimberly!

Same here. I bought a banana holder before & ended up donating it bc the bananas were never the right shape for it to close. They should make a round or oval one instead to accommodate various banana sizing.

Thanks a ton for sharing your experience with us, CJ! I haven’t seen these in my store yet to try them out!

How many of these would you have to have to store a bunch of bananas??? Seems impractical.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

LOL! I think it would be more practical to carry in your bag/tote for lunch to keep it from getting bruised, Tori!
