Baskin Robbins Launches Two New Non-Dairy & Vegan Ice Cream Flavors
For those who love ice cream but need to avoid dairy, Baskin Robbins is launching two non-dairy and Vegan ice cream flavors this month: Non-Dairy & Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Non-Dairy & Vegan Chocolate Extreme.
Made with coconut oil and almond butter, these new flavors are said to have all of the creamy deliciousness of Baskin-Robbins’ classic ice cream with none of the dairy.
“The Baskin-Robbins culinary team has been hard at work on our non-dairy flavors for over two years. It was important for us to take the time to get it right,” said Baskin-Robbins Director of Research and Development Jeanne Bolger. She described both flavors as “smooth and indulgent,” with “the incredible quality that our customers have come to expect from any Baskin-Robbins ice cream.”
Note that these two new flavors are not being sold in every shop yet so call ahead to see if your local Baskin Robbins has them in stock before heading out!

Here’s what we really think about Aldi’s Earth Grown Vegan foods line…
This is awesome! I love to see companies listening to consumers who have different lifestyles and diets. As a vegetarian, it’s nice to feel included
Very true, Victoria! Enjoy!
Not just great for those who choose to be vegan but for those who can’t have dairy. My daughters lactose intolerant so this is exciting.
Great news for your daughter, Maria! I hope she LOVES these flavors!
Never been diagnosed as lactose intolerant, but dairy makes me so sick every single time so obviously I avoid it all together. This is awesome news!
I’m sorry to hear that, J, but I’m glad you will be able to enjoy these ice-cream flavors!
Can’t wait to try it! Being lactose intolerance is no fun! Now I can enjoy ice cream with the family! ❤️
My store only has the chocolate extreme for now and it’s amazing.
YEEEEEEEEEEEES! I have never sought out a Baskin-Robbins but I will Be now!
So awesome! One of my son has a dairy allergy so it’s hard to find fun treat places that everyone can enjoy in our family. This is great news!
I’m glad to hear your son will be able to eat this ice-cream with the rest of the family, Tabitha!
I was able to buy a scoop of the chocolate chip cookie dough at my local BR here in NJ – it is delicious and I’m lactose intolerant too- had extra cones at home to enjoy it with
Finally 🙂
I’m so happy about this!!
Be aware, if it’s an allergy issue, that they may not have separate scoopers for the dairy free options, and even if they do, will they actually be able to keep them safely separated from the dairy scoopers?
The cookie dough is so yummy! I have a little with a dairy allergy and we had some last week.
Glad to hear it, Jenna!😃
Nice! Unfortunately non-dairy is not the same as dairy free.
I think if they are vegan, they would have to be completely dairy free. Yay!
Dairy-Free Products
Dairy is a broad term that includes milk from cows and other mammals, as well as any food product (cheese, butter, cream) made from this milk. Dairy-free products should contain no dairy whatsoever, including lactose and casein. They’re safe for people with both lactose intolerance and milk allergies, as well as those on a vegan diet.
Be advised, however, that “non-dairy” is not the same thing as dairy free. Non-dairy creamers and other products labeled non-dairy are allowed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to contain milk proteins (casein and whey) and other milk derivatives.
It was not good Ben and Jerrys is a lot better!!
Thanks for your honest feedback, Loves2shop!
I’m not extremely allergic to anything but have noticed that lactose free and gf bread do help me with nausea and bloating. I also observed coconut makes me feel sick any other options for non dairy products? I sound like I’m asking a doctor for advice 😉 but appreciate help. TIA
I am so excited to see this! 😃
Is it made with almond milk?
I wish they’d have coconut milk alternative with no nuts. Just avoid the top 8 completely..
I am so excited that Baskin Robbins is finally listening to those that cannot eat dairy. We got a scoop of the dairy free cookie dough and it was really good!
