Any deals on Costco memberships right now?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Tori! I don’t find any at the moment, however we’ll be sure to keep an eye out!

    • Amanda

We just purchased an executive business membership for $120 and got $60 back in the mail. We will also get a check in the mail at the end of the year for 2% of what we spend there if I’m understanding correctly. I didn’t see this deal online so maybe go into your Costco and ask

    • Arnold S

If you do a Google search for Costco Membship $20, a deal will come up where you pay the $60 online for the membership, and then they send you a $20 gift card. I just did that deal a couple of weeks ago and the gift card came in just a week. They really tried to upsell me to the Executive membership when I arrived at the store with my printout.

    • Cathy

Don’t be afraid of an Executive membership. I’ve gotten at least $200 back for the past 2 years and I only shop for 2 people. That 2 percent back does pay for itself. I use the pharmacy every month (2 percent back), buy clothing, shoes, underwear, get gas. Bought a set of tires. Rented a car through Costco travel website. Way more to offer than just food.

      • Amanda

Thanks for the tips! First time getting a membership

      • je

Ditto! I also have the Costco Visa CC and you get cashback on that too. I’ve gotten at least $600/year from the Costco Executive membership cashback + the CC cashback. For the CC, you get 4% back on gas, 3% on restaurants and travel, 2% on purchases from Costco, and 1% on everything else, so it definitely adds up. I only use the Costco CC for gas, restaurants, travel, and Costco purchases to maximize my cashback.

      • Maggie

I totally agree with tires, pharmacy, etc. for Executive! Eye glasses are another category where Executive is worthwhile. If you have a family with eye glasses, RX sunglasses, and contacts, Costco is awesome. Their optical shop is top-rated by Consumer Reports. Hearing aids too — my mom gets hers at Costco. We’ve also ordered new cell phones through them for a Verizon plan. Costco’s check printer is the same one my bank uses, and they always offer 2 boxes for $11 including shipping with Executive….same as the complicated coupon-code deals posted here for other online vendors, with less hassle. I’m also doing more and more online shopping on Costco.com–they are rocking killer deals on ultra-high-end beauty brands lately that aren’t in their stores.

  2. Jen

Wow, I need to get over there soon! Thanks!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome, Jen! Happy shopping!

    • Christine

I had the Executive but didn’t get enough back to make it worthwhile, so I downgraded to the regular. They refunded the difference and I used that money to renew for the next year. If you don’t get enough back to justify that expense, you can get the difference back. I love their return policy, too. I would rather buy there and spend a bit more knowing that I can get my money back if it breaks or I don’t like it. You might not always get the best deal but at least you know you didn’t get ripped off.

  3. PrincessMom

Wow, .50 a cup for Chobani is a good deal! I might have to drive up and get a couple of those 🙂

    • Me

I was thinking the same thing. .50 is an excellent price for the Chobani yogurt! And I don’t need 16 Drumstiks but for the price, I just might…….. lol!

  4. Melisa

I think the premier protein cheaper at sams

    • Kyle

I think the premier protein only comes in a 12pk at Sams. I may be wrong.

    • JColtrin

It’s almost $18 for 12 instead of 18 at Sam’s club. Definitely a better deal at Costco.

  5. Sara Hall

Kirkland kcups are on sale too but not on the list- are they the same price as online? Also, when is the home items, etc list come out? 😁😁

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Yes, it does look like those are on sale online and in store. You could always call ahead to your location to be sure. Also, I do find some home items on sale through the main link above. Hoping that helps!

  6. Kyle

My Costco in Harrisburg, PA I noticed some of the prices are cheaper then what’s listed here. Such as the gold fish is $6.99, the frito lay is $10 and some change, and the Starbuck frapps are $12.99.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh interesting. Thanks for the feedback, Kyle. It seems pricing can vary by location.

    • podvintage

Also the Business Costco’s have cheaper prices too and any membership can shop at these.

  7. MaaMaaBear

Any reviews on the GoGo squeeze – good or bad? I thought I remembered hearing about issues with them…

    • Diana

I think GoGo had a salmonella or listeria outbreak years ago. I give my child the gogo squeeze applesauce and the gogo squeeze yogurts. She loves them!! Haven’t tried the Blendz yet. Was there something with GoGo more recent?

    • Lara

My kids LOVE the new Blastz. They’re a tad larger too.

      • Amanda

Bought them for my picky eater and it was a hit. He loved them.

    • Shannon

My son loves these flavors, we’ve been buying them consistently for many months with no issues.

  8. Jenifer

I wish they offered a day pass option. We live too far away to have a membership.

    • Megan

Get a Costco cash card. You can use then without a membership.

  9. Jess

It’s all junk food, I love it when they mark down the produce and health foods.

    • Kathleen

      Agreed ❤

    • je

One of our Costcos has a corner for produce that they’ve reduced in price. They’re either the last of the lot, bruised, or ones that are on the verge of going bad. I don’t see it in all Costco locations in the area, so it might just be the way that particular location does things. I personally like it because seeing that last pack of mangoes in the giant mountain of other fruits is hard to spot. It’s like finding Waldo.

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the tip on the produce, je!

  10. jen

Lotta junk food. I guess that’s more in-demand. Wish they have more on the good food or produce.

    • C

A lot of their produce per pound or per ounce is more expensive than Walmart or our local grocers.. I don’t think I’ve ever bought produce there… the most shocking I’ve seen are how expensive their potatoes are! Idk the price, but I know it was way more than non-sale prices here locally (and way way way more expensive than the sale price here that’s every couple of months for $1-$2 for a 5 lb bag)…. and I don’t think I’ve ever seen sale prices here at our Costco on the produce

      • Bev84

We just bought the potatoes…8.99🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. They usually go down to 5.69 in the winter time and I hate spending that much on potatoes but the hubby is have a bbq this weekend and he has to have those big potatoes!

      • Maggie

If you buy organic produce, they have pretty good organic prices. They’re the highest-volume seller of organic produce in the United States right now, and are even buying land to lease to organic farmer partners to fulfill the soaring demand for it. They also have great prices on nuts and dried fruit, as well as whole grains (like quinoa) and seeds (flax and chia).

    • Sally

I wish they had more healthy options to. I bought the Romaine lettuce there and notice the price was a dollar higher then before and the Romaine is never in the booklet.

  11. Patty d

Glad they have the cetaphil again that’s a great deal.
Also the Clorox wipes are a good deal for back to school

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Woot Woot! You are right, Patty d!

    • Megan Passey

Do you know how much it is in store? In the ad it just shows $5 off but no idea on final pricing?

  12. Aiman

I bought Kleenex tissues for $14.49 for 10 boxes. Each box has 230 tissues. Back to school deal!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Great deal! Now I need them, Aiman!

    • Me

That is an excellent price for that size. I might have to get these as well. Thanks for the comment and the heads up!

  13. Stacy

The gold fish on sale is the one with the individual packages, not the 3 big packs..

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks so much for pointing that out, Stacy! I just updated that!

      • stacy

No problem, I was at Costco yesterday.

  14. Shannon

Great deal on Folgers coffee!! I’m hoping they have some good deals on Clorox wipes and ziplock bags.. anyone use delivery? Is it through Instacart or is it through Costco..

    • Patty d

They do have deals on both wipes and ziplock bags

  15. Jill

    Any tire deals this month?

    • Maggie

FYI, the tire deals always happen in alternating months — one month it’s Bridgestone, the next month Michelin. This month is Bridgestone ($70 off of 4 tires, plus $60 off of installation). You can price a set on their website just by entering your vehicle info.

  16. CELESTE

Do they ship easily like sams? Our Costco is far from my home, but I have most of our sams orders shipped home anyway

    • Mommyof71987

Yes they do but the prices online are more expensive than in store. I hope that helps.

  17. Marion

I will pass this month, these are nothing but high carb junk food. Waiting for better deals on nutritionally sound good. Not feeding my family the stuff that’s posted

  18. 3WonkyDogs

Question to H2S community: I bought a Costco gift card/ cash card using my credit card which doubles as a Costco membership card. Fast forward a month and I was paying using the Costco cash card I bought a month earlier. The cashier said I needed to prove I am a current member even if I am paying using a Costco Cash Card. Has this happened to anyone before? I saw a post on H2S about paying with a Costco Cash card without having to be a current member? Thank you for your advice.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Darn! I just spoke with customer service to be sure and they confirmed that you CAN use a Cash Card without being a member. Maybe call in to your store before heading out again. Hoping that helps!

      • 3WonkyDogs

Maybe I will try another lane/ another cashier if the same thing happens again. Will definitely call customer service before going. Thank you!

        • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

          You’re very welcome!

    • Tina

Happened to me too. We actually have membership but under husband and my moms names. Sometimes i just want to grab milk and fruits for my toddler. Husband bought the cash card. I went in for milk and strawberries, they stopped me from using the cash card. Pulled me to the side and wouldnt let me buy the items. Honestly i felt embarrassed and had to leave the 2 items there and carried my not quite 2 year old out with me. This was last year.

  19. Emma

The Keurig K-Elite C Single Serve Coffee Maker, 15 K-Cup Pods and My K-Cup Reusable Coffee Filter, has $25 markdown, is this a good deal? I believe after discount is $99.99.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It is selling for $169 everywhere else, Emma! If it’s only $99, then it’s a great deal!
