I have long, extremely thick hair. I put in a detangling conditioner in the shower and use a wide-tooth comb through my hair before I rinse it out. Once I’m out of the shower I use a leave-in conditioner that also has detangler in it. I love my wet brushes. We have them everywhere from the bathroom to the car, my purse.

i am a brush addict, we all have thick hair. brushing my hair is a great anxiety relief so i have multiple in purse car and house. discovered the wet brush about 4 years ago and have at least half a dozen in a couple of different bristle styles. they are amazing at detangling not the greatest for styling or putting thick hair up. we love them. bought one for my niece last christmas and my sister said she stole it from her
