Did You Win a Marshalls Surprise Box in Today’s Treasure Hunt?

Shopping at Marshalls can feel a bit like a treasure hunt, but that has always been part of the fun, right?
In keeping with their “Never Boring. Always Surprising” slogan, Marshalls has announced an exciting new promotion that will turn your visit to the store into a literal treasure hunt.
Today, August 16th, beginning at 2 PM ET, Marshalls stores across the country are hosting a treasure hunt where customers can search for a “Surprise Box” in each of the 1,109 participating stores nationwide. The box will be filled with specially curated, “amazing” on-trend finds.
“At Marshalls, we believe life is just better with surprises—it’s what makes our stores so exciting to shop,” vice president and marketing director Victoria Shonkoff said in a news release. “Our stores deliver surprise every day through our ever-changing selection of the brands you love, and we’re excited to take surprise to the next level for shoppers across the country with the Marshalls Surprise Box.”
Sound like fun? Head to your local Marshalls on August 16th for the chance to find a surprise box. Search the store for the blue/pink box that has a sign next to it saying “YOU FOUND ME!” If you’re the lucky shopper to find the box, bring it to a store associate at the register to claim your prize.
The hunt begins at 2PM EST and ends no later than 9PM on August 16th. If you’re thinking about participating, you’ll want to read the Official Rules ahead of time. And maybe wear some protective gear.
Behavior that is “violent, dangerous, destructive, threatening, illegal or that is intended to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any consumer or Marshalls employee while participating” will get you disqualified. If more than one customer finds the box at the same time, the winner will be determined by alphabetical order according to their name.
What could go wrong? Sounds like a pretty exciting afternoon of shopping!

Content of the box left mixed feelings because one glass fell apart from sun glasses immediately I opened box at home. But it was fun!

Reading the comments I’ve seen a lot of people say that it seems like the stores really didn’t advertise but as soon as I got to my Marshalls at 2:10 there was a big sign that door and the manager was telling the whole department store about the box, it kind of irritated me because it seemed like it should have been for us loyal hip2savers! Even took my 8 yr old Grandson to help look😕
