My local Starbucks will not allow you to pay the diffrence. I’m not sure if that’s a rule at all of them.

I just searched the item on eBay & it looks like some sellers are Starbucks employees. They picture of the tumbler is taken in the back stock room. A green apron is visible in another picture. Sad.

You can take them in for discounted drinks. It’s either 10c or 10%, I can’t remember. I use mine for water, however.
I got my hands on one today and went back to get 2 more for my adult kids and the manager came and took them from me telling me they should not be out. I feel like I got a Golden Ticket from Willy Wonka seeing I got one! I did contact corporate about the shadiness of their employees. but they didn’t seem to care.
