Didn’t want to work for me even though I had the banner. I used the chat feature to talk with customer service and they applied a $20 promotional credit to my account so I could still purchase at the $4.99 price. I did have to send them a screenshot of the banner showing the promo but I’m super happy I got to grab this at such a great price.
Guess I’m not a select customer. I don’t qualify for the discount. 😔

I had the banner too and the code didn’t work. I chatted with Amazon for 45 minutes and had to email screenshots of the banner and the terms and conditions. They tried to tell me it was expired (terms said expires 9/30). Then they told me the code was for $5 “off”… not a $5 plug. Lastly, the told me the terms say they can revoke offer anytime without notice! She finally gave me a $15 promo credit as a “one time exception.”

I had the banner, had to send screenshot to chat, they said I was having issues comprehending the coupon details. It was for $5 off, not a $5 plug. I ended up sending a DM through Twitter and they sent me a $20 amazon gift card that I could apply to my purchase. Chat person was so condescending.
I was able to get one, but can someone give me ideas on what to use this for?
