They look heavy anyone used them…have been using corelle

  2. Susi

They are a bit heavier than Corwell…however I love them! They were worth the wait and should last a lifetime!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback, Susi! SO happy you have been pleased with these! My Mother in Law has loved them too!

  3. Samantha

    Do they chip easy?!

    • Bethany

No, they do not chip easily. I have had my set for 15 years and have 3 kids (some have been dropped). Never had a chip!

      • Jeannette

“Some have been dropped” – the kids or the dishes? 😜 I read it quick and laughed. (p.s. Fiesta dishes are great. I love mine)

  4. Kenia

I love my Fiesta sets!!! We are a family of 5 and have never had any problems with the plates. I always grab a set when there’s a sale. They have an awesome warranty. I had an old set of flatware that had lost the tiles on the handles and they sent me a brand new set!! I’m always on the hunt for discontinued colors.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How cool! Good to know how helpful customer service has been! Thanks a ton for sharing your experience, Kenia!

The silverware with the rainbow tiles? I bought those & when i showed them to my boyfriend, he asked me why I got “gay” silverware, lol. How ridiculous! I admit the thought crossed my mind that some people might think they’re tacky looking, but I thought they were cute!

We LOVE our Fiesta sets! We replaced our Mikasa with these and they have held up so well! We were pretty disappointed at how easily Mikasa chipped and cracked. Thanks for posting! We needed 2 more sets!

  6. Carrie

We are also a family of 5 and use fiesta ware for most of our everyday meals. We started with a service for 8 but have added 4 additional sets over time. This is a great deal (we have stocked up before when they are around $16 to $17 a set).

I have my grandmother’s set from 1948, and my set from 1996. They are awesome and hold up very well.

  8. Nita

Was too heavy for me..prefer Corelle.

  9. Nita

    Lovely pieces tho!

How are they in the microwave? Do they get hot?

    • patricia

I usually microwave our food for about 3_3.5 minutes and I don’t think they get too hot that you can’t touch them with bare hands.

So I don’t know if this has been posted yet, but the Labor Day code POPCORN20 is now active for 20% off. Using the app, I was able to order a Meadow (we didn’t have this 2019 color yet, but we have all the others) set + 1pk of Hallmark tissue paper at $1.99, set both for local pickup, and use LABORDAY & POPCORN20 for the order. Total was $14.40, and I liked that so much, I did another order for Turquoise. I’m slowly adding the sets with the Bistro Bowls in them, bc all 3 kids prefer that bowl for… all the things. (Honestly, so do I!)

As far as how they’ve held up, in the 12 years we’ve had them, they’ve survived the 5 of us and four (five? Military life… 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️) moves. What they have NOT survived was living in Miami and being dropped on the real tile floors in that house. And we are a family of droppers, so I lost a lot there. 😭 (Lost my glass KitchenAid mixer bowl there 3x as well, but I digress.) On the up side, at least I get to buy more Fiesta in new colors! 🤣🤣

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh awesome! Thanks SO much for taking the time to comment! We sure appreciate the feedback!

  12. Heather

    Super heavy. Prefer lighter dishes.

  13. joni

Heavy but very sturdy good quality beautiful colors do not chip easily love mine. every time a new color comes out I buy another place setting 🙂

  14. Danielle

The last time this sale rolled around, I happened to be near a Kohl’s so I just popped in. There were stacks and stacks of the Fiestaware sets in the clearance section and after using the coupons and stacking deals, I ended up with eight full sets for right around sixty bucks. I got two different colors and I LOVE them.

  15. jenn

These are thick but I think that’s what makes them so great…I’m sure that’s why they don’t chip easily, last a long time, can be microwaved, AND can be handled straight out of the microwave. However, I could definitely see the weight being too heavy for someone with arthritis, especially unloading the dishwasher, when you usually pick up several dishes at once to put them away.
