My girls age 7 and 8 LOVE LOL dolls but 250.00?!!! I would pay like 150 since it would be for 2 girls but that much is just outrageous. Hope my lil ones dont hear about it! Lol

    • Brenda Mitchell

I agree my 8 gran baby loves them but 250:000 no

    • Bernadette

I actually found this on Amazon for $144. Only difference was it didn’t come with the family or the chimney/fake snow. My 6 year old still loves it and was so happy to get it for Christmas.

  4. lilbrowneyedgirl

    Ummm…..NO never 😂😂😂

  5. KAMmommy3

No way. We got our 7 year old the one that was released last year for Christmas and she was super excited to open everything. The “95 surprises” are furniture and accessories for the house. She honestly rarely plays with it and she is crazy about her LOL dolls.

  6. Jer

    Lol no 😑

  7. KelBen

No.. the other lol house is too much $$ also

  8. Ang McC

I love my 8y.o. and she loves L.O.L. dolls by absolutely never. I didn’t pay that much for my first used car (I’m dating myself, I know)! For a toy that’d most likely end up rarely played with after the initial excitement wears off, I don’t feel that it’s worth it.

  9. Ap927

This is just sad that they do this to parents and children. 👎🏻

  10. Ap927

It comes with fake snow?!?!? They should pay ME to bring that thing into my home! 😂

    • Allyson

      That’s what I was thinking!

  11. Abre

Lol first response NEVER but I see great minds think alike haha

  12. Abre

Least that have the name right because I’m LOLing over here on that price.

    • Joni

      😂😂😂😂😂

  13. nikis22

    Heck no!

  14. Damaris

    No way

  15. Joni

Nope! My daughter uses a regular doll house and even a camper we got from target that was originally for 18 inch dolls and has a blast with her lol dolls. That’s WAY too much!

  16. Pjane

    No

  17. Amy

I will wait until it goes on clearance after Christmas!

  18. Pam

Not in a million years. However, there will be parents out there who will. Why? No regard for money, insecurity, effort to impress, desire to buy a child’s love, who knows. When my girls were growing up they knew our financial limitations and would never have asked for such an extravagant waste of money toy. Now I’m teaching my grandchildren how to make good buying choices (they know Nana is a coupon lover) and to resist the need for immediate gratification and sense of entitlement so many of the children today seem to have. I’m sure I have H2S sisters out there who agree.

    • Lina

Or you could just keep your long rude explanation to yourself. If someone had enough money and maybe their kids don’t ask for much but really wanted this..than maybe they would buy it.

      • Hopscotch123

I don’t find Pam’s response rude at all. I think it’s factual. Your response to her was rude.

      • Ms. Frizzle

Pam wasn’t rude. You are..all super fluffy offended.

  19. V

My daughter uses her Shopkins Shoppie Happy Place doll houses snd furniture for her LOL dolls

  20. Rachael

NEVER!!! That looks like a gift a grandparent or uncle would buy for the kids. . . LOL!!

  21. Kat9919

Is any other mom cringing at the chimney that snows? I can see it now all over my house!!!

    • E

Right???? That’s one of those “nope” toys. Like slime and pooping baby alive (eats and poops play doh).

  22. Emma

Not a chance. My daughter last year got the display stand that turns into several rooms. She can pack it up and take it with her. It has been used a ton, but it’s portable. At home she uses some old fisher price doll houses that were given to us. The snow would just end up in the sweeper so what’s the point.

  23. Mal

I am a bit disappointed in MGA and the price that they have set. Why not make something amazing and more affordable for MOST families!?! While, I could very much purchase that house for my daughter, I personally do not think it appears to be made of a $250 quality. I also do not want my daughter’s room destroyed with tiny balls of fake snow. Um, did they have a parent review panel for this one!? I believe if they lowered the price, they would have more sales. I have purchase the LOL camper and will remind my daughter that she already has an LOL doll house from last Christmas. (ps. no judgement to anyone who plans to purchase this)

  24. Rachel

    No

  25. nita

    Heck no.

  26. Pretygirlygirl

It’ll eventually go on sale. I picked the first one up for $98 and still had it in time for Christmas last year. And now you can pick them up on clearance for WAY cheaper. I’ve learned my lesson on waiting and not being the first people to have things. Hatchimals are a always on clearance now. I paid $100 for one. Luvabella doll I stood in line early on the morning. Now you can pick them up for $30. Poopsie unicorn and poopsie poop purse are on clearance all the time now. We need to stop buying this stuff right when it comes out and pre ordering. We’re demanding it at any and all costs. We’re grooming the makers to take advantage of us.

    • Samantha

The reason those things are on clearance now is that they are no longer the hot toy. Thye are irrelevant and pricing goes by trends. A child that wanted hatchimals when they were the hot toy and everything TV and influencers were marketing is most likely too babyish for the kids already in or going into middle school now. Buying 3-year-old top toys is still fine but it still won’t be what is a top toy this year, that is like buying an iPhone 5 and saying it’s like getting an iPhone 11 on clearance. It’s not longer hot and sought after but it’s good enough and better than nothing. This house will sell out and it will be a top toy, if anyone is even thinking of buying it I would remember Targets 90-day return no questions asked policy after shipping date that is well after Christmas.

  27. Kris

No as much as my daughter loves LOL’s i can spend the money on something else.

  28. Sarah Vargo

I got the older version last year for $60 instead of $200. My 10 year old plays with it nearly every day. It is extremely well made, much nicer than the plastic Barbie houses. If you compare the price to other wooden doll houses, it’s not as terrible. The new house looks fab to me, but even I would never spend full price.

  29. Jodi p

That toy is going to get recalled because of that fake snow, which looks like little styrofoam balls. Say tuned….

  30. Janelle

Not even a consideration at $250.

  31. Marcie Gaster Valentino

This really makes me sad! My daughter has collected and played with lol dolls since they came out! The price started out nice…$7.99 a doll. Now the cost of dolls is crazy and this house price is terrible!

  32. Sara Thompson

No need. We make and sell our own LOL furniture at much more reasonable prices. Their price is outrageous.

  33. SJ

Not a freakin snowball’s chance in hell.

  34. Shannon

What the…??! Why???!! Every lol doll I’ve bought is missing a zillion pieces and it’s head is now apart from its body lol. What a waste of good $$$.

  35. Marie

No. The company calls it LOL, because that’s what they do when you pay their initial prices.

  36. Melissa Rice

If I had a daughter and she really liked it I would. There’s no right or wrong answer here, it’s just perspective.

  37. Mrs B

4 big bags of styrofoam balls and 2 small LOL dolls and 1 dog. Why no LOL OMG fashion dolls included with that hefty price of $250? No one wants 4 bags of styrofoam balls, most people will throw those away. But it was an easy way to fill up their cardboard truck. Over priced not enough dolls!!!

  38. A_Little_outraged_mamma

    Is it magical?

I would rather buy some of furniture pieces with LOL doll for $14 and work with my daughter to create dioramas in containers to put away or use in other doll houses.

  39. Sarah

I can afford this and my daughter LOVES it, plays with it everyday! Totally worth every penny! She is 6 and has no idea what it cost. I work hard and like to spend my money. I would buy three if it made her happy. Money is not an issue for me and I am not raising my daughter to be a brat or ungrateful. She is the sweetest person. It’s all about how you raise them. I’m doing a really good job and she is happy that’s all that matters!
