Anyone having trouble redeeming there $2 cvs gift card. Tried to today and it didn’t work, told all cvs don’t take e gift cards.
You need to make them let you manually enter in the numbers and the pin. Scanning the bar code thing doesn’t work – or at least not at mine. I had the same issue when I tried pay with Ibotta.
Ask the cashier to hit the gift card button and then you need to manually enter the info into the credit card swipe machine. The cashier might have to enter the pin on their screen.
Same thing happened when I went to use mine this past weekend. When he scanned the barcode it didn’t work but manually entering it and the pin it worked just fine 🙂
