What dates are you seeing those super cheap prices? I’ve changed to the calendar to the whole available time period and only seeing about as low as $495 even from the places listes
Hi Alex! I found these low prices when checking from mid to late October to mid November. Be sure to browse around a bit. Hope that helps!
We’re planning a trip to Kauai for my husband’s birthday in October 2020, but I can’t get any of the sites to look that far out. At least not from Denver.
Who plans a trip to Hawaii at the last minute? Way too expensive trying to find a place to stay
My family planned a last minute trip to Kauai over Christmas last year. While most places to stay were super expensive (like $1000+ per night), we just kept checking VRBO and Airbnb until we found a place that worked in our budget.
my friend just booked at rip today to go for 11 days next week the house they booked is normally 800-1100$ a night, they got it for 250$ a night, it’s a private house, on a private beach with a pool, hot tub and on a turtle sanctuary…my aunt and uncle booked their two week trip in september and went in september…lots of deals to be had last minute..if you’re flexible and can wait it often pays off
maui is really expensive. we found hanua kai spa and resort for 309 a night (end of feb 2020). this cheap rate is due to the constructions near by…i travel hacked by signing up for the Hawaiian airline cc when they were running a deal. I paid $748 on flights out of pocket for 5 ppl.
Thanks so much for these tips, serenity!
We stayed at Honua Kai last year with the “construction view”. It was perfectly fine. There were some apartment complex’s being built way in the distance and didn’t hardly even notice over that ocean view. The rates were great and Dukes restaurant is so yummy.
