This is a great product and was totally worth every penny. Some of the pieces were hard to fit/put on the car or other pieces. I personally love the curvature, and the attention to detail its amazing!! I absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to purchase this and the new pieces are great!
I bought it when I was in vacation in Legoland last week. At the moment I saw the box, I knew I would buy it. When I got back home, I started building it. It is so much fun, especially doing it with my daughter together. She has lots of sets in friend series and started her first set when she was around 2 years old.
This set was very enjoyable to build, and, unlike some other complex sets, is also fun to play with. It looks very accurate to real life (except for a strange triangle behind the rear window), and has some cool details, such as the VW fuel cap and front logo and a very nice beach kit, along with the features listed on the page. It also looks great in photos! All in all, it’s one of my favorite sets, as this is an almost perfect fusion of two of my favorite things; the VW Beetle and Lego.
