Although there may be an ongoing debate regarding whether it’s too early to put up your Christmas decorations, it’s literally never too early to get a head start your Christmas shopping (for those of us who like to be prepared, anyway)! Apparently, Walmart agrees, because they’re rolling out some of their holiday deals beginning now!

We’re making sure this season is the easiest yet for our customers with nine tech-enabled ways to shop for everyone on their list – when and how they want.”

Here are some of the ways Walmart plans to help its customers start early and save more this holiday season…

  • Expanded Check Out With Me Services – Check Out With Me is a service that allows customers to avoid lines at the register by checking out with an associate wherever they are shopping, including the garden center, the electronics department or near the registers. It is now available at all Walmart Supercenters.
  • Expanded DotCom Store: The DotCom Store, which is also now available in all Walmart Supercenters, lets customers place an online order right from the store if they can’t find the item they want in-store. Items are ordered with the help of an associate and sent directly to the customer’s home or nearest Walmart for pickup.

Walmart Grocery Pick Up - 1

  • In addition to these new features and expanded shopping services, customers can also take advantage of Pickup Today, free two-day shipping, and Online Grocery Pickup and Grocery Delivery to buy their gifts and everyday essentials in more convenient ways than ever.

I just hope they have actual cashiers at the registers…..

Amen sister! I’m right there with you on that!

My Walmart just added a bunch of self check out which decreased the (real) cashier into just 5 lanes. And many times not all of the lanes are open. Getting out of there is really time consuming. I can’t imagine what it would be like when it’s Black Friday. Going to be a total annihilation 😣

Same here. I was like what on earth. It’s convenient sometimes, but can get overwhelming if you have more than just a few items. It really makes me not want to shop there anymore honestly. But I heard this is something that all Walmarts are headed towards unfortunately.

Even if I have a cartful, I use self check…it is still faster than waiting in line at the one open register. Plus I don’t come home each item in its own Plasti bag 😉

I got same air fryer for $34 from Walmart couple of months ago. $5 cheaper than this early deal…

Does anyone know if Walmart’s customer service offers rain checks on out of stock items?

A 20% increase over a poor selection of toys is still just a larger poor selection. 🙁 Walmart is mostly about licensed toys or cheap crap (although the Lego selection is at least decent). I’m watching Fat Brain Toys and Lakeshore Learning for deals, in addition to Amazon & Target. They’re pricier but at least it’s stuff my kids want to play with.
