Male cat or female? All cats need plenty of water, but especially males. Put more than one water bowl in different places in the house. Especially important if you are feeding dry food.
Congrats on the new addition to your home🐱. We have 6 rescues and the best advice I can give is to purchase pet insurance. Since you have a kitten it shud b relatively inexpensive. We purchased Pet Plan for all our furbabies. They seem to have the best rates and the service is fantastic!

@ J.H., Congrats! I echo the comment about providing plenty of water. One of our furbabies has recently struggled with UTI’s and our vet strongly recommended purchasing a couple of ‘cat fountains’ and putting them in various places around the house, to encourage good hydration with both of my furbabies.
