Do they allow 1 year olds?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m sure you can bring a one-year-old! That will be fun!

  2. TWood

Omg. I bet the lines will be soooooooooooooo long

  3. Sara

Is Themis at every kohl’s? I tried to search web page and all it said was NJ location

    • Nicole

It was at ours in the past years. Then the gift was lame. (Letter you fill out and mail to Santa) This years gift sounds more exciting.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Yes, it is nationwide.

I really hope that this years Kohls santa is better than last years Kohls “santa” ours was TERRIBLE. It was a young lady who didn’t even ask the kids what they wanted for christmas. The kids didn’t even want to sit on her lap because they knew it wasn’t santa and looked at me like I was dumb for trying to convince them otherwise. And the “gift” was a letter to write to santa. It was a complete waste of our time.

Really a lady???like they didnt have one male employee??

    • Krissy

Ours too!!! It was a young kid and he had the beard pulled down and was wearing jeans and tennis shoes. As soon as I saw him I hustled my kids out of the store. I will definitely not be back this year. No thank you.

  5. chely

  6. Diana

Yeah our santa was sketchy too, and didnt ask what they wanted- i told my girls, it’s ok that was not real santa 🤪🤪🤪🤪.

  7. Diana

I’m always a bit sad when this stuff is on a Sunday. I know it’s my choice but I hate missing out.

    • sarah

      I agree.

  9. Yess

Haha our santa was funny too. Young boy who told them they were going to get the gift for Christmas haha

I hate to complain about something free but the Santa at our Kohl’s last year was laughable. My cousin commented on the picture we put on Facebook and said “that looks like Santa’s unpaid intern”. She wasn’t wrong. 🤣 I think we’ll skip it this year.

  11. Holly

At our Kohl’s they were giving out posters. No thanks.

  12. Jock

Don’t waste your time . It’s not worth to be in line. My kid got only a star war poster

  13. S

Maybe we, as adults have too much expectation for “free.” It was free to see Santa, free for a Star Wars poster, and a free candy cane and the best part….no line! Santa was pleasant and my kids came out with a smile. Was it our favorite holiday event? No. But, we were on the way home from getting our free Firehouse sandwich in honor of National Sandwich Day so it worked out fine for a 10 minute stop. Although my kids just had their Halloween costume on and now I’m dressing them in red?! Ahhh, the holiday season is here 😂!

  14. San T. Claus

Sheesh. What do you spoiled people want for for free? A toaster?

    • Joan

Agree. It’s not a “Toy for Tots Giveaway”. (Although it would’ve been great if they were collecting toy donations or food donations with the event.) You’re seeing Santa for free with a minimal line, the freebie (poster and/or candy cane) is a bonus. If you’re going to be ungrateful, don’t go. Simple.

  15. Joan

We went today, got there 15mins early with no line. Once Santa showed up, we were 3rd in line and 3 families behind us. It was quick and easy. We loved the FREE Frozen 2 poster (that’s all we received). It was hilarious with my 4yo daughter (who was the youngest in line) repeating, “Mom! That’s not the real Santa”. The other parents were laughing so hard. I had to tell her he’s in disguise, just Santa’s helper in making Santa’s Xmas list. Our Santa greeted each child with a hand shake (kinda weird but ok-lol). He wasn’t as sketchy as the other comments, but he was definitely a younger gentleman. Anyway, it was a fun FREE event. Thx H2S!

My experience was great. Santa was a old guy like Santa Very kind. I got great pictures and my daughter loved frozen poster. She loves all about frozen. It was great no lines Thanks so much hip2save !!!!

    No free toy…just a poster
