Question: I’m looking for a 40inch to 50 inch TV for a Christmas gift. I don’t drive so I won’t be going into stores. From peoples experience would it be better to buy a black Friday deal or wait for a cyber Monday deal? (I don’t care about brand or store really)
I think deals will be about the same for both days. My suggestion would be if you see one you like at a good price, buy it. If you buy one on BF and it’s cheaper on CM, most stores will refund you the difference. The key will be finding a good deal that you can order online since it sounds like you need it shipped. How much are you looking to spend?
Try looking at Best Buy, they sometimes have decent 1080p and 4k TV’s on sale for a good price throughout the year. I would stay away from cheap third party brands though to be honest. Those tend not to work more so than others. Some good brand TV’s that wont break your bank and that will work and last awhile are LG and Vizio, and Hisense seems good but we never bought one of their TV’s but a lot of their TV’s do have good reviews. Element, Philips, Polaroid and Westinghouse are some of the brands whose TV’s you may want to try and avoid as they usually don’t always work or last that long nor do they have good reviews. Our mom tried buying a Westinghouse tv for her work only for it to be dead on arrival straight out of the box.
