I have had many, many of this companies heated blankets and throws. My only issue is , if you wash the heated throws or blankets more than once, they tend to stop working all over or in certain spots of the blankets/throws. I have followed the instructions to the tee. hand wash cycle in the washer on cool water. Hang up on a old fashioned wooden clothes dryer rack till dry. They tend not to hold up more than a season or two. I purchased queen and a full size blanket 2 seasons ago, one of many that I have purchased over the yrs. the full blanket has yet to be washed because it is only used lightly and it works great. The queen one I had washed twice since purchase and it has stopped working on one side. I have tried switching controls, etc still nothing. Seems like once you wash then and dry them they seem to degrade. I have been asked then why do I keep purchasing them over the last 15 yrs? Well I seem to find them on great sales at Kohls and Walmart over the years. Priced low enough that I don’t sweat it if they only last 2 seasons. Other wise I would never pay full price for Biddlefords heated products. I usually buy them when they are half priced and I have coupons on top of that. I truly wish that the people whom I gave these to could return them. What a terrible made product. The plug is in the middle of the blanket. WTF I’m sorry but I will never buy anything from Walmart again. I could have shipped these back to Amazon no questions asked and received a complete refund. Terrible terrible terrible….. I apologized to the people I gave them to for such poorly made craftmanship.
