Help Needed Please! I coordinate the adoption of a wrap needy families in our county for my neighborhood. One 7 year old girl has requested a life like doll and I saw this deal. I do not have children yet so am wondering if the American Doll is worth it or if there are other comparable dolls that may be less expensive. Thanks so much for any feedback.
I personally like our generation dolls from Target. They are good quality dolls. I wouldn’t spend this much on American girl dolls even with a sell. The hair does get tangled quickly I have noticed- not sure if it is the same for American girl dolls?

Yes its worth it !!! So nice of you and I’m sure the 7 year old would treasure that american doll forever she can pass it on to her kids one day yes they last that long !!! The ones from target are cheaper but also very cheap quality compared to american girl dolls!!! The hair gets tangled and it’s done!!! We had them all from walmart , toys r us , target and nothing compares to american girl!!! I say if you can afford to for sure get the American girl , every little girl wishes for one !!! Happy Holidays
