Botley is a great toy! Highly recommend!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you for the recommendation, Victoria!

We actually picked up Botly a few weeks ago at Walmart on clearance for $30. It looks like a lot of fun. My older boys have MiBro so we thought our 4 yr old would like Botly…we’ll see at Christmas 😁

    • Chelsey (Hip Sidekick)

Great find! My 4-year old LOVES Botley! It includes little blocks and balls you can push around and she has a blast moving things, or just driving it down the halls! I hope your kiddo loves it!

  3. Michelle

We have several Botleys to use in my classroom. It is definitely a favorite among the students.

How does Botley compare to Mindstorm and Cozmo? We have those, skip this one?

    • Victoria

I’m not familiar with Mindstorm, but we own Cozmo. Botley is definitely designed for younger kids than Cozmo. It’s much more simple, doesn’t require a tablet to connect to and has less to do. It’s ideal for ages 5-8 I would think where Cozmo is more appropriate for the 8+ crowd.

Is anyone having trouble putting the globe in their cart? It says in stock but won’t add it to my cart

    • Ms

The globe is available again. I was able to order this just now. It was out of stock earlier.

We have had the cash register for years. It’s played with regularly even by my “older” kids when they are playing store. Highly recommended!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

It’s nice to know that even the older kids still play with it!

  7. Mary

Can anyone give any advice about this learning globe vs the shifu orboot that was posted a couple days ago?

Also, I will second that the cash register is great. Got it when my now 8 year old was 2, and it’s still played with!

    • Ms

Looking at the pictures, to me, this one has more details (it looks like a regular old fashion globe) and this one doesn’t need another device (e.g. ipad/iphone).

  8. Carrie

Someone should do CPR on that coding robot.
