Got a $10. Because my purchase was only .02 after kohls cash, she acted like I was stealing the coupon when I asked for one since the person in front of me got one with a smile. Happy Holidays to her!
Or, maybe she was just exhausted from the hard last few days she’s worked. Kohl’s opened at 5:00pm on Thanksgiving Day (which meant cashier’s arrived before that opening time slot- so she had a hurried Thanksgiving meal), the store never closed overnight on Thanksgiving and was open all day on Black Friday until midnight. The best you can do in a situation like this is to maybe offer a smile to *her* and wish her a nice day and tell her to hang in there- the rush will end in a few weeks. Chances are- she’ll smile back. Cashiers are human. Please be kind to them during the Christmas frenzy. :/ She’s probably working her third day in a row. đ

My store wouldnât give them away unless you made a $50 purchase. I even showed them the email and website and manager still said no. Cashier straight up said her manager is stingy and would not let them give them out without a $50 purchase. I called CS but they were no help. Oh well.
Wow. Not a lot of good will there….or trying to get repeat customers to come back in. That’s a bummer. I’m surprised customer service didn’t care about that….it defeats trying to get the customers to come in to the brick and mortar stores vs. the online shopping.
My thoughts exactly! I usually shop more online but made a trip to the store just for the promotion and was so disappointed when they wouldnât honor it. What are they going to do with all the left over surprise cash anyway? So many customers left without one because they didnât spend more than $50. Funny thing is that last year when they ran this promo, my store didnât have any problems giving them out with any purchase so not sure what changed besides the manager.
I only got a $5 Kohls cash but I’m happy with that! I only spent $5 so it was a win win!

No, it’s not ‘an expiration date’, these are the dates the coupon is valid during.

So surprised about the $50 requirement at some stores. I agree that certainly isn’t in the “fine print”. I bought socks for $6 and received $10 in Surprise Kohl’s Cash. My store in las vegas wanted you to spend $50! Ummm no- email clearly states ANY purchase. Manager gave me one but was not going to give them out unless customers spend $50. Kohls needs to send out another email if thats the case… spent $3 on a shirt- got $10 đ

I received a âSurprise Kohlâs Cashâ and put it in my wallet. My sister logged off of my account to check hers and when I logged back in I noticed it wasnât in my wallet. I tried scanning the barcode again thinking I probably have to save it in there again, but it wonât save it. I tried to check the balance on it and it only says âSorry something went wrongâ. Does anybody know what the reason can be?
