Pickle Rick Pringles

Kellogg’s is planning the release of Pickle Rick Pringles! 🥒

Pringles is collaborating with Adult Swim to create a limited-time Rick and Morty-inspired flavor. Fans of the show will recognize these chips as a tribute to the viral hit episode “Pickle Rick,” in which mad scientist Rick Sanchez turns himself into a pickle to avoid family therapy.

Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles, said this in a press release:

“We want to do something completely new for the brand for the 2020 Big Game and are thrilled to be partnering with Adult Swim and Rick and Morty, a show which continues to grow in popularity year after year and enjoys a cult fan following. We hope the new special edition Pickle Rick flavor will be a hit with the show’s fans.”

Dill pickle Pringles

What do these Pringles taste like? Hopefully, they’re more pickle than Rick! They could just be a repackaged version of the brand’s Screamin’ Dill Pickle Pringles, but there’s no official word from the company on this.

Naturally, Pringles is encouraging its Twitter followers to try them and see first-hand what they taste like! The company has also taken to Twitter to tease a 30-second Superbowl ad featuring Rick and Morty for “a new spin on flavor stacking.” The Pickle Rick Pringles will begin appearing in stores nationwide around the time of the big game.

Have they ever watched the show? Itā€™s disgusting.

Is this a show? Iā€™ve never heard of jt

    • Matt

I agree. Not trying to be negative, but shows like this are complete trash. I hate that the world has ruined cartoons for kids. (Yes, I know it’s called adult swim, but do you really think kids won’t be watching?)

      • Bethany

        Parental controls.

Obviously, not all cartoons are meant for kids. There are teams of dozens of people who work hard to animate these stories. That’s what all of these cartoons, animes, T.V. shows, short films, and movies are: stories. And not all stories are appropriate for kids of course. Why is Rick & Morty on ADULT Swim? Parents can easily block content for their kids in this modern age. This type of mentality that cartoons are just for kids is absolutely ignorant.

Never seen it but the commercials are disgusting! Seriously whatā€™s the point of all these ā€œcartoonsā€ for adults.. all of them are ridiculous and pointless.

    • DK67

Not all ‘cartoons’ (animated programs) are for kids. The fact that it’s on at 11:30pm should give you a clue. Don’t like it? Don’t watch it. Don’t buy the chips. They constantly advertise ‘poop’ emoji’s on here…and I find that more disgusting.

If you donā€™t like the show, donā€™t watch it. seems pretty easy. Not everything is for kids.

    • Rebecca

Gee that makes so much sense! But how would these people fill their time if they weren’t complaining about/offended by everything??šŸ˜‚
