Another thing to keep in mind before you buy: this does not replace Alexa’s voice. Each time you have to say “Alexa, ask Sam…” in order for that voice to respond. Seems annoying and tedious.
That really does! I was going to get this for my husband, but not if it doesn’t actually replace the Alexa voice!

I did some googling & while their wording is weird, it does appear to be just a one-time charge. If you don’t get it during this introductory period, somewhere around the beginning of the year it will be going for $5.
