On the fence? Check out these readers’ reviews…

LOVE Plant Therapy! I’ve ordered so many oils from them and they’ve all been great quality. I used to get oils from Young Living but for the quality and price, it doesn’t even compare!

We love our little Coco bird plush and Plant Therapy oils. They’re a great company, very reasonably priced, and we love that their oils are all labeled “kid safe” if they can be used on children. Takes the guesswork out of using them for your family.

Would love some insight on these oils and diffusers. I was actually looking into ordering off Amazon but good deals on here! I’m new to oils.

      These oils are GREAT!!!!!!!!!

    • tracey

Hi! Get your oils here and a cheap diffuser off of amazon to start off with and see if you like the concept. I’ve bought some oils off of amazon with great reviews and they were not right….stick with plant therapy or Edens garden…or the big name brand ones (Young living etc.) Have fun!

    • Mary

Plant therapy is the best! High quality oils, top notch customer service and great prices. ( I like Edens Garden as a second choice). I would recommend starting with scents your familiar with peppermint, lemon, pine trees, ect. Plant therapy has synergy blends that combine several different oils in one bottle. For winter colds I love to use GermFighter (strong cinnamon smell) and Immune Aid (frankincense /tea tree smell). I diffuse and apply topically and it seems to kick the crud a little faster. Good luck!
Oh and I just picked up a $12 diffuser from Walmart and it works great!

I love their products and customer service. I found out about Plant Therapy throught hip2save about 3 or 4 years ago and I have been buying oils, hydrosols, carrier oils, lotions and now their new line of creams and body butters. Peppermint, lavender, eucalyptus, lemon are good starter oils and they also have oil sets. I do have both amazon and Plant Therapy diffusers and like them both. And with one of the des if you spend 50 you get their Nova diffuser for free. Good luck 🙂

Just a reminder if you have pets around the house- some essential oils can be toxic to them. Do your research first to see which are safe.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thank you for the tip, Megan!

    • Keri Culpepper Barras

Yes I was just researching this as we have cats. The blend I really wanted to get seems to be a no no for cat owners :/ Ugh! Just looking for relief from sinus issues/ congestion caused by a med I’m on.

      • CBethS

Try a roll on. Most oils cannot be diffused around cats.

  3. Rachel

I love plant therapy! Their oils are awesome and their customer service is amazing! I bought a body butter and didn’t like the smell.. they refunded me no problem and said i could just give the body butter as a gift. 🙂

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m so happy to hear about their customer service! That is one thing that will keep me loyal to a company!

Aside from putting in a diffuser, what or how do i use Tea Tree Oil ?!?! What are the benefits ??. My mother talks about it all the time. I realize i could ask her about it but my mother likes to talk and talk and talk and…… i just want a cliff notes version please. I want to purchase that and lavendar.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Tea Tree oil is an antibacterial, but make sure to dilute it. I personally add it to my shampoo to help with itchy scalp.

    • MrsGarfield

You are funny 🙂 i personally use it to make face serum (combined with other oils) for my teenage daughter to help with the acne. It’s great for your scalp as well – you can add it to your shampoo. Be careful how much you add – there are dilution charts that can help you with that. For more info you can look up suggested uses in plant therapy’s product page – there is a short description.

    • Jeremiah2911

You can add to shampoo to treat/prevent lice! Don’t need much, and PT provides all info for uses, dilution, etc. Check out their blog and groups on FB, or email or call and they’ll be happy to help!

      Thanks everybody. Merry Christmas !!
