My store still had tons of Christmas stuff. When will it go down to 90%?
I was there 5 minutes after it opened this morning and I couldn’t even get down the 2 aisles of Christmas, there were so many people in there.
My store in Spring Texas had tons of things!
Most of my stuff is broken,dented ect at the store…was super excited about a nativity scene for 32dollars but angels hand is broken..can i return this item or is xmas non refundable?
I was there yesterday, and yes, the store near me was the same. A lot of items were missing pieces, broken, and unfortunately, it felt like black Friday with people being pretty unkind. I had to stand through it since my mom was loving all the wrapping paper LOL. The sales person told us as we checked out that Christmas was Final Sale, no returns or exchanges. But you know, it doesn’t hurt to call up and ask. Maybe they will make an exception and help you out with an exchange. Worse thing they can say is no, right? Hope they are kind. Have a great day. 🙂
I went there today and got some items after work. I plan to go tomorrow and get some floral for that Target hanging basket. I also saw some Rae Dunn pillows! There were $39.99! I am wondering if I should hold off to 90% for those.
My store sold most of their Christmas stuff by Thanksgiving.
I was going to buy some peeps on clearance for 80% off. Just a normal sized package that’s $1.25 or so everywhere else – it was $5.99 at hobby lobby. Oh sure, it’s 80% off that price – but that just makes it normal price for every other retailer. Had never been in there before; won’t be going back. They also told me that they don’t accept Joann or michaels coupons. I was surprised at that.
For décor, etc. Hobby Lobby is still better than Michael’s or JoAnns prices.
Agreed, they are a lot cheaper than other decor/craft stores. Peeps are a strange thing to base your shopping experience off of considering they’re not a grocery store and it’s not a typical item for them to carry, it’s a novelty.
They also always have a 40% off an original price item almost all the time. So their prices with the sale or coupons really aren’t that bad. But yeah, I wouldn’t base my purchase at a crafting store off of a novelty grocery item.

We have 6 aisles of Christmas clearance stacked full in Sf Louis. Lots of paper, ornaments, tableware, decor, gift bags and boxes, craft sets, tinsel, garlands and trees. Came out with 5 bags full of useful items and only spent $26. It is going to be 90% off on Friday!!
FYI Hobby Lobby went 90% today.
