Anyone know what ages this pole would be good for? I’m looking for a starter pole for my 11 year old and I know nothing about fishing.

It says in the description that these are not for children under 3 – so 4 and older, however, I did see in the comments that someone bought this for their 11-year-old and they stated: “The pole is definitely made of a nice quality and after several weeks of using it, he loves it and it’s holding up very nicely.” Hope this helps you!
I would honestly get your 11 year old an ugly stick with a spinning reel, you’ll get a lot more use out of it. They are in my opinion easier to learn to cast on, and less back lash. Our 11 year old has had hers for two years and it has been a great option for her. We fish early spring, summer and fall a fair bit and have yet to have any issues with it.
