New Coca-Cola With Coffee Anticipated to Arrive in the US This Spring
There’s a new coffee-cola mashup coming to a grocery store near you!
Back in 2006, Coca-Cola released Coca-Cola Blak, a coffee-flavored beverage which debuted to a confused audience and disappointing sales. The world was clearly not ready for this coffee-cola hybrid, and it was quickly discontinued in 2008.
After a long wait and much speculation, it looks as if Coca-Cola is finally getting ready to unleash another coffee-cola combo with a brand new beverage called Coca-Cola with Coffee. Unlike Coca-Cola Blak, the new Coca-Cola with Coffee won’t just be coffee-flavored; it will be coffee-infused with the real stuff. It will also have more caffeine than both regular Coke and the dearly departed Coca-Cola Blak.
If you’ve traveled out of the country lately, you may have already had the chance to sample this beverage overseas. It’s been available in other locations for some time now, and it was well-received in countries like Australia, which is home to the “no sugar” variety shown above.
Coca-Cola with Coffee is rumored to be coming to the US this spring and is expected to be available in three flavors: Dark Blend, Vanilla, and Caramel. It’s set to join a similar line-up of coffee-infused colas from rival Pepsi Co., as we first reported back in December.
