I got one of those too, but when I tried to use it today, I got an error message saying code is invalid and codes cannot be transferred between accounts. I only have one account and the code came from my email. Strange!
I had similar issues and when I had the item in my cart I had to sign out and then in again (while on the phone with tech support) and then it worked. I’m not sure if it was signing in/out or something they fixed on their end that made it go through.
