  I was going to post the same thing. The msrp prices are somewhere between $3-8 a normal skein of yarn. I’m actually going to go crochet on my afghan.

  That’s actually a typo if you go to the site it’s listed at $30 retail, which is a more reasonable number lol

   Thank you so much! I crochet a LOT. Baby afghans for all my kids’ friends etc etc. I’m not familiar with a lot of these yarns and this gives me a chance to try different yarns cheaply. I agree list prices are crazy but I never pay attention to that. If the real prices are at least reasonable that’s good enough for me 🙂

   Self imposed rule: I am not allowed to order yarn online anymore, because in real life it never looks the same as on a screen, which is always so disappointing. But did I click the link immediately when I saw yarn up to 85% off? Yes. Yes, I did.

   A lot of these yarns are discontinued, hence the discounted price by the discounter. So if you buying the yarn for a specific project, but more than enough to complete the project as you’ll likely not find the yarn in a local store if you run out.
