If one of your New Year’s resolutions was to live the ketogenic lifestyle in 2020, you may still be searching for ways to indulge your sweet tooth without bingeing on sugar. Thankfully, eating keto doesn’t mean living life without desserts!

Duncan Hines is planning the release of these keto-friendly cake cups, and they are designed to fit right in with your low-carb, fat-fueled lifestyle! They contain zero grams of added sugar, five grams of net carbs, and up to nine grams of protein! Best of all, these cakes are SO easy to prepare, and they require zero cleanup. Simply add water and butter, stir, and pop them into the microwave for about one minute. Easy peasy!

Duncan Hines Keto Cake Cups are expected to hit the shelves of retailers nationwide this March, for the suggested retail price of $2.15. They will be available in three flavors – walnut fudge brownie, double chocolate cake, and birthday cake. YUM!

Me or my wife still haven’t found a recipe that’s palatable and we have tried MANY. Hoping these are good.

Same here. High hopes. Can’t wait to try.

Trim Healthy Mama has something similar that is very yummy. You can buy it right from the site, or look for their ” muffin in a mug” recipes. Lots of good ones! I have been doing this lifestyle since 2014 and will never go back. Many of their recipes would be interchangeable with KETO, but they allow recipes that use carbs up to 45 grams.

      I love THM!

The pricing leads me to believe that the sweetener they’re using is maltitol, which is not ideal for keto. Atkins & Quest use maltitol, too. Just check the ingredients list before you buy it if you’re a keto person!

I can’t wait to try them!!! It will be interesting how they taste.

We do have a place in Utah that makes DIVINE Cupcakes, cookies, cheese cakes and bread and they twice a week have pick up spots. I noticed they deliver in the mail now too. It’s called Keto Cakes Utah. I have no clue the cost of shipping but let me tell you they are so yummy! They do have a lot of erythritol in them though so if you have issues with erythritol…..well just be aware. I do have some issues with it and can only eat a little bit at a time but they are a nice treat even if it’s just a bite or two

I found a picture online of the ingredients. They use allulose, Malitol and stevia for sweeteners

The maltitol is as bad as regular sugar. I suspected as much. They couldnt produce it as cheaply with sweeteners that are better for the keto diet.

    When, when, when😄😄😄😄

I need to see the ingredients list.

    • Beth

Google it. That’s how my daughter (a keto follower and food scientist) found it. It contains maltitol, which digests as a carb unlike other sugar substitutes that would’ve been better but more expensive.

I come from Vietnam. I’m researching on keto cakes. This information is very helpful to me, thank you very much
