This works great! Just follow the directions and get 2 perfect poached eggs in record time. Can’t beat the price and it’s super easy to clean. Only tip I have to share is when you place it the microwave, point the handle towards the center and the cups on the outside of the turntable. This helps for both eggs to cook equally.
I read a lot of the reviews very carefully before buying this, and was, naturally, a little anxious – you know, the reviewer who said her microwave blew up. Plus, I wasn’t getting it for me, but for my mostly blind husband.
Well, he loves it. Just loves it. He fiddled with the times a bit, and has now found that 45 seconds in our 1200 watt microwave, followed by immediate removal, gives him just what he wants, nice soft, juicy yolks.
So, This thing is pretty darn good, especially for the price. The cook time is short, it does it perfectly, it seems sturdy. But there is one small caveat- The eggs stick like no other to the plastic. This has occurred from day one. But, there is a very easy remedy. I do a very quick spray with olive oil cooking spray, and viola! No stickiness whatsoever!!

Just use a tea cup. Add some water. Crack in an egg. Pierce the yolk. Microwave for 45 sec to 1 min depends on your power. Poach egg done. I’ve tried. Save you $2.
