Eezy Peezy Dome Climber with kids on it-2

Your kiddos will love this Eezy Peezy Climbing Dome! It features interlocking plastic tubes and connectors with a double self-locking spring that make it lightweight but really durable. It assembles easily, so you can move it indoors or outdoors whenever you want. It’s best for ages 3-8, and anchors are recommended for outdoor use but are not included.

I’ll keep it short & simple – this this climbing toy RULES! From my 12-month old to my now-9 year old, it has seen daily use, in my living room, since Christmas 2012. Two children labelled “hyperactive” used it to blow of steam, gain coordination & awesome muscle tone. Tough as nails too. Isn’t easy to assemble and you really need to leave it assembled because the fitting are pretty tight and you DON’T want the connections to loosen, so leaving it set up might be a problem for some.

Do yourself a favor for assembly, get yourself a thimble! Some of the little buttons on the joiners are pretty stiff so after attaching just a few tubes I ran inside and grabbed a thimble from my sewing box and it made it so much easier on my fingertips. I assembled it from start to finish in an hour, all by myself. All the parts were clearly marked and it was pretty simple assembly. Only tool needed is a Phillips screwdriver for one of the very last steps.

I have to admit – I was a little skeptical at first about purchasing this. My girls are 4 and 2 – they aren’t big climbers. The reviews were good and we needed something for the girls to do in our new backyard. I figured for the price it was a worthwhile gamble and that worst case scenario I would sell it if they hated it. Thankfully it was a hit from day 1. A big thank you to all the reviewers that shared tips about what a pain in the butt assembly is. I beg you – READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS. My husband and I both tried tackling assembly without fully reading the directions and had to go back and re-do parts we assembled incorrectly. Don’t make our mistakes. Even with the pain in the butt assembly in mind, I give it 5 stars because my kids love it and it is a great value.

We recently set this up for our son and he likes it. Although the product doesn’t seem to tip over when he climbs on it, you can never be too safe. Any idea where one would buy the anchors to fasten it into the ground in our backyard?
