There’s an important product recall in the news!
Infantino has recalled approximately 14,000 of its infant and toddler carriers due to a risk of the buckles breaking, creating a possible fall hazard for the child. According to a report from the Consumer Product Safety Commission, the products recalled include the Infantino Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic carrier, the Flip Front2Back carrier, and the Up Close Newborn infant carrier.
Only Infantino carriers with the following lot codes are included in the recall. Similar items with different product codes are not affected by the recall. Both the product name and lot code can be found on a label sewn inside of the carriers.
- Go Forward 4-in-1 Evolved Ergonomic Carrier – Lot codes 2018 0619 and 2018 0719
- Flip Front2back Carrier – Lot code 2018 0719
- Up Close Newborn Carrier – Lot code 2018 0719
Consumers are urged to stop using the carriers immediately and contact the company for instructions on how to receive a free replacement. Infantino can be reached at 800-840-4916 from 8 AM to 4 PM PT Monday through Friday, by email at firstname.lastname@example.org, or online at Infantino.com.
