I am honestly so happy about this, I just hope the quality is as good as it use to be. The clothes always lasted so much longer than other brand. Even Target’s Cat and Jack doesn’t seem to hold up as well as some of the older Gymboree stuff.

  2. Andrea

I’m so disappointed that the sizes only go up to 8! 😢

    • Sandi

      Me, too. 🙁

    • Sara

Same! My daughter LOVES gymboree clothes, and she’s in an 8 now, but she’s 9, so I know it won’t last.

She had a skirt just like that cherry print one when she was younger. It is so cute!

I am too! I ordered several outfits for my 6 year old but I’m so sad she will size out so soon. 🙁

    • Kenaby

Couldn’t agree more with you. Very disappointed they don’t carry sizes 10-16. Gymboree had the best quality clothes and clothes selection for boys. Hoping as they roll out the new line, they will fix this and add sizes for older boys(kids). Please, please, please…there’s such a lack of teen boys clothes that are good quality/design & the amount of store space they get in comparison to girls is very small☹️

Sizes only go up to 8 now.

  4. tiredday

    Such cute clothes!!!

  5. Pansy Binz

My kid outgrew size 8 at about 4 years old, so the new Gymboree is useless to me.

My best friend had an 1 year old in 3T but she was not overweight for her height. Her parents are 6’3″ and 6’7″. Her older sister was the same and in size 8 at 4. Maybe leave the weight concerns to the parents and your comments to yourself in this case. Have a good day!

    • AnAvAnG

What a bag for saying that! You can take that comment elsewhere!

    • Ibetht

Your comment is unnecessary and disrespectful. Go troll somewhere else!!!

I’m holding out a few months till the new stuff hits clearance😉

I’ve seen a LOT of people complaining about the size limitations across social media. Obviously this is a first release and they need to see how it goes. The sizes they released are the size range that sold the most previously (not talking about infants) so they started off with that. Sizes above 8 might involve ages that might start to feel like they are growing out of gymboree styles and want something that looks less childish. If all goes well and they are successful, they will most likely expand their size range and offer more collections to encompass their entire customer base. Be patient!

    • Sarah

Yes yes yes! Looking forward to seeing how they do.

    • Anne

This is what I’m thinking as well!

Glad they are back…. disappointed the Boy’s bottoms do not include their jeans anymore.

  9. ashley

I’m curious if the quality will remain the same or if it will basically become TCP with a different name similar to the Carter’s/Oshkosh situation.

  10. Mia

Im so excited to see Gymboree back but I must admit that i think their boys line gets a little short changed. Before my little girl passed away I would shop Gymboree all the time and it was all so adorable. Now I have a little boy and even though its cute it just doesn’t compare to the girls stuff, maybe its always been that way.., i didnt have my son before they closed.

    • Marcia

I completely agree, the boys clothing is always more limited than the girls. And I’m so sorry about your daughter’s passing.

    • tipaye

Mia, I’m sorry for your loss ❤️. And I agree about the boys clothes…they always get short-changed!

  11. Stephanie Link

I am do disappointed. They are only doing up to size 8. My girls are too big.

  12. Marcia

Aww, these are the same designs my now nine-year-old wore as a toddler! They look like the same great quality. I am so tempted to get them all for my one year old. 😬😅

  13. jelpatel2

They are open in store too I saw Gymboree collections inside the children’s place

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks! We will look for those, jelpatel2!

  14. Kristine Siebel

I still have the Gymboree clothes from
When my oldest (now28) was young
    Always well made
Loved their clothes and always bought them as gifts

  15. Sherr

    No baby clothes

  16. nikis22

I am glad to see they are making a comeback, I have always been curious about them since I have a child now.

  17. perfectlyoutgrown

Boys always get way less than girls. 🙁 I hope they start having coupons that stack again, even with 25% off, it’s still a bit pricey.

  18. meggyjames

I do hope the quality will be as good as it previously was… I dressed all 3 daughters in that for years and their clothes made it through 3 different wearers! And then was able to pass them on.

  19. Melissa

I was super bummed that they only went up to size 8 also and told my almost 11 year old and she was thrilled. 🤣 She informed me she was too old to wear clothes from gymboree but maybe I could still buy them for my 4 year old niece. Lol

    • MommySpendsLess

I was thinking something similar when I saw the size comments. I can’t imagine my 10.5yo daughter still wearing Gymboree. Maybe a piece here and there depending on the line but not the coordinated outfits.

Anyone know if we can use children’s place gift cards at Gymboree? The cp gift cards are regularly discounted at Rite Aid.
