Why would you post a product that clearly violates safe sleep practices for infants? This site is marketed to be a kid-friendly, family-friendly site and people trust you and your recommendations. Promoting this product as a deal is irresponsible.

Hi Emily! Thanks so much for your feedback, we certainly appreciate hearing your thoughts on this. I’ll be sure to pass this along to the team for any future posts.

Especially that picture, yikes! I count at least three not-safe sleep practices not even including the dockatot (which I owned/used… only for naps when I was away from baby’s crib and was literally sitting next to her the whole time).

This is a great deal! I see nothing wrong with this post. My child slept in one for months and so did several of my friends babies. You can have your own opinion but don’t yell at the messenger for posting a good deal. Good grief!

Maybe because I work in health care and have met plenty of families who thought they were fine to put their kid down for a nap in a bed or product marketed as safe, but clearly violated safe sleep practices, only to later hold their child, who died from SIDS, in an ER. Not all children will die in this, but some have/will and it is irresponsible to promote products that are against safe sleep practices. They wouldn’t push a deal on a car seat that didn’t have the 5-point harness, so why push this one. SIDS is real and, sadly, not everyone takes the safe sleep guidelines seriously until it is too late.
