Two of our daughters have been saving up Christmas and birthday money and decided to each buy Chromebooks so they’ll have their own to do school work on (and I’m sure watch lots of YouTube videos). We found great deals on Acer brand on Amazon. They got a 11.6″ touchscreen for $95 and 15.6″ for $125.99.
We have the above chromebook and we also have the Acer from Amazon and LOVE both of them.

Acre C720p-2625 11.6in Touchscreen ChromeBook Intel Celeron 2955U Dual-core 1.40 GHz 4 GB RAM, 16 GB SSD, Chrome OS (Renewed) is the one that arrived yesterday and my 11 year old is thrilled with it so far but obviously we don’t have an long-term experience to go by yet. The other will arrive tomorrow.

Can you get Microsoft word on chromebooks?
No, you would have to have a google account and then use a similar program called google docs. It’s all web based, where Microsoft stays on the actual device.
Actually you can use Microsoft if you have one drive. It is a bit of a pain to get used to but it can be done.

Warehouse pick up is available for this item and standard delivery time will apply so it looks like it is not in clubs currently. Please note, only the bill-to credit card addressee may pickup the product. Valid state or government-issued photo ID is required at the time of pick up.
If you click on the links above for the Chromebook, it brings you to Costco. The Costco page says the product(Chromebook) isn’t available. So this deal is either no good or it’s no longer available. I also went directly to Costco and all of their inexpensive Chromebooks are out of stock. Strange how this article was just published on 03/17 and within 6 days it’s no longer valid. What a shame.
