Check out why Hip2Save readers LOVE Birkenstocks…
I have quite a few pairs of Birkenstocks. I have regular footbed and soft, real leather and Birko-Flor. Both footbeds are comfortable, but I personally prefer the regular because they mold to the shape of the foot better. The Birko-Flor are not leather but the material is very durable and wear just as well (if not better) than the leather. I also like that I don’t have to worry about them as much in the rain. For sizing, it can definitely vary from shoe to shoe. I have pairs from 37 to 39. I take smaller size in the sandals and larger size in clogs and boots. Hope this is helpful to someone!
These are the best sandals. I’ve had three pairs in different colors because I love the style and they’re great for my bad feet.

(Thanks, Denise!)
I got Birkenstock’s last year and at first they were soft as a cloud as they molded to my feet, but now the footbeds are so hard and I don’t wear them anymore. Is it just me?
Try wearing them for a few hours a day. When I start wearing mine after not wearing them all winter, it takes a while to soften up again.
Thank you!! I always miss this deal and today I actually got a pair!! I’m so excited!! ☺️
Woohoo! Happy you could grab them this time! You’re very welcome!
You can have the footbeds replaced. Look for a shoe store that sells them for recommendations where to send them for repair. Some places can do them in house.
I know this may seem weird but isn’t this a 90s style? I wish they would update the look somehow. I had this same pair in highschool 20 years ago.
LOL! They are timeless!
It is the classic style that was introduced in the ’70s. 🙂 Birkenstock makes a lot of different styles if you want something a bit different. This is just one of the timeless ones.
There *are* updated looks — but not for $59. Go to a Birk-authorized store and see the full line, but be prepared to spend $140-$200/pair. There are wedges, cute sandals, ballet flats and more now. This Arizona look is older than the 90s — it actually dates back to the early 70s!
There are no sizes available for the brown sandals. Bummer! Thanks for posting, this is a great price.
Just a heads up that these are NOT leather, listed as synthetic upper.
Yes, these have the synthetic straps.
Thank you. I cancelled my order. I thought they are leather 🙁
I always wonder why are these so expensive 🤔
They are durable and have great arch support. Birkenstocks are quality shoes that usually last.
I saw on the news last month that Costco is not an authorized seller, so they are buying them from who knows where. This reminds me of a few years ago when Costco was selling fake Tiffany and they got busted. https://www.businessinsider.com/costco-not-an-authorized-reseller-birkenstock-sandals-company-says-2020-3
Thanks for the link. Good to be aware.
Below is what Costco has on their website. I read it as they’re not an authorized dealer but doesn’t mean product is not authentic. I ordered one and will see how they fit. Wished they were leather. Didn’t realize that when I placed order but great price.
“This item is covered by Costco’s guarantee to refund your purchase price if you are not completely satisfied. Costco’s guarantee applies, even though this item may not be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty, because Costco is not an “authorized” dealer of the merchandise. “
I ordered the Gizeh sandals last month after H2S posted they were available again. They are authentic. I’m not concerned at all. Costco stands behind their product. Just because they’re not purchasing directly from Birkenstock does not mean the product is fake.
It says “product not found” 🙁
Looks like these are gone now. I just updated the post, Jacy!
