I take hemp protein as a natural medicine to lower my cholesterol, blood pressure and weight loss and not for the taste. I am less hungry during the day after having a shake in the morning. Hemp has green nutrients, fiber and omega 3, so I don’t buy these nutrients separately anymore. Bloating was gone after the first few days of taking the product. I like animal protein and won’t give it up, but I give my body a break from it with hemp protein!
It has an earthy soil taste and goes well to coat sweet potato wedge slices before baking. I also add 4 tablespoons to my morning green smoothie and blend in well. It does add slight bitterness so add 2 strawberries to cut the bitterness. It has helped me add protein into my diet without soy, which I am allergic to. If need fiber and protein supplements, but have allergies this is a solid option.
