Disney fans – mark your calendars for May 10th!

Disney just announced a second Family Singalong which will air on Mother’s Day on May 10th at 7 PM EDT on ABC.

If The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II is anything like the first Disney Family Singalong, we can expect even more star-studded performances, inventive at-home choreography, and plenty of Disney magic.

Ryan Seacrest will return to host, along with on-screen lyrics so you can follow along with the celebrities as they perform Disney songs from their homes. This event will once again raise awareness about Feeding America’s network of resources for people across the US who are facing hunger as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

Performers for “The Disney Family Singalong: Volume II” will be announced soon. In the meantime, you can catch a replay of the first Family Singalong on Disney+ or Hulu!

I’m curious to people’s thoughts on the first one?

    • Jennifer

It was a let down for us. We’ll skip the next one.

      It was super cute.

Other than Arianna Grande (however u spell her name), the rest of the show was great. She was inappropriately dressed n I personally can’t stand her pouty vanity n arrogance. Not a role model for our kids. The rest of the performers were good. We will watch again.

I completely agree! She does this weird breath-y thing with her voice that I can’t stand and it’s a shame because she has a beautiful voice. The weird jewels on her face were ridiculous. We actually fast-forwarded it. I hate to be so negative about someone, but it’s true. Some of the other performers were wonderful, though, and we all got into singing Let it Go. 🙂

        Agreed!

I don’t have anything against her voice personally or her music tho it’s not my first choice of genre. But I do have to agree that I didn’t feel her costume choice was entirely appropriate. So, rest assure, wasn’t just you!

Can the first one be viewed OnDemand or on Hulu? Anyone know?

    • Jennifer

The first one is on Disney+.

    • Valerie

      It’s on Hulu as well

  4. Sarah

    My kids loved it!

I was surprised I enjoyed it and thought it was fun. I wish they had stuck to the hits and I don’t like the live action version of Gaston but it was cool. I’ll tune in for the next one.

Our family really enjoyed it. I thought it was cute! I got misty eyed at the end of it when they were thanking essential works. I work in medical , so I appreciated that!

We thought the first one was very cute, we will definitely tune in for the second!

I enjoyed parts of the first one just wish they included more of the movie clips and less of the people signing or split screens. My 4 yrs old has no idea who Ariana Grande and Beyonce are and lost interest pretty quick when it was all about them and not about the songs.

I hated the first one. I would’ve been more thrilled with a the original character voices doing the songs along with the original movie clips.

    • Dee

Right I actually enjoyed Donnie Osmond’s the most for the same reason. Yeah, he got his grandkids involved but at least he did the original singing voice for General Shang and stayed true to the style of the original song version from the movie.

We watched it as a family tonight and I personally loved it!

I loved that they had Josh Gad and Luke Evans song “Gaston”. Was great seeing these two “reunite”
