When viewing 4K content this TV is excellent. Just search for 4K video on YouTube and get ready for a feast for your eyes! The videos of walking through the redwoods or Grand Canyon or many other scenic places are outstanding… almost like being there in person.
We love TCL tv’s! We were early adopters of this brand. I think our oldest one is pushing 10yrs old now. TCL is not a well known brand in the US but it is abroad. I got to know the company through one of my researchers. Basically TCL doesn’t make any of their own parts. They buy each part from the best manufacturer out there…for example if Samsung makes the best screen they buy the screen from samsung…if sony makes the best processor…they buy that part from Sony…and then they put it all together and slap their name on it. We have a like 8 of these TV’s in our house…and they are all perfect! Well..except for one flaw…the smart tv feature is only useful for so long. TCL is not good about doing updates to the software so we find that over time Netflix and other apps will be incompatible with the smart tv feature…easy solution is to just get a firestick or external roku.
