I have one I bought from Aldi’s about 3 years ago. I love it. I keep the side loop (hand hold) through the leg of my deck chair when not in use. I do keep it inside during winter. (Live in Kansas, it’s windy here) it has held up well. My 25yr old adult son likes sitting on it when he visits. My day 10# dog loves sitting on it as well. To answer your question, they are light weight. Children could throw them fairly easily. But I think it would not damage the pouf. I don’t know if they hold water, mine are under the roof on the deck. I recommend them.
