I actually bought this item to keep hot chocolate hot. I made it and got it super hot then put it in this pot, we took it out to give to the homeless in about 35-degree weather. We were out there for about 1.5 hours and the chocolate stayed hot till the last cup.
This is a super little coffee pot. It brews 40 cups in 30 minutes and is easy to carry and use. It is relatively quiet and has a nice appearance, The 2-way dispensing handle works well so that you can use styrofoam or ceramic cups. Many other brands only have the dispenser that you must push to cup up to the pot to dispense coffee which doesn’t work well with styrofoam cups.
