      You’re so welcome!

  2. Sunflower

Thanks. Great price. I ordered one in each color. I’m going to use my cricut to design mine.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! You’re very welcome!

  3. missesk

I bought a bag of 10 masks for $15 when you couldn’t find masks anywhere. They were literally just felt. I have never felt so ripped off by a company, and they were from Target.

    • spcmartinm

      Target is taking returns.

    • ccmama

I think at the time – this all Target could get their hands on to offer for their customers. My son unloads their truck. Supplies are very limited and what they do get it, it sells out fast. Be thankful you got your hands on anything. At our local store, even with my son getting first dibs on products – there want anything in our community.

    • sophia

The bag of 10 is different from this 2 pack. I agree the bag of 10 felt really thin. These 2 pack ones are much better quality and much better fit.

    • MellisaB

I bought the same ones at my Target. I tried one on when I got to the car and they were the worst mask ever. I marched right back in and asked for a refund and they did. I felt ripped off as well!!!

    • jessicalinneastevens

My gma bought the same ones and they were indeed AWFUL!! They had weird ear holes too lol. I’m trying to get her to return them!!

    • CW

One morning we got in line and a Target associate said they had these masks BUT she did not recommend any of us buy them. I really appreciated the honesty and it seems, the “heads up”. 🙂

    • Tina

I got those also in store, so thin felt material and tight pulled my ears forward. I returned them to the store and no question was asked.

  4. Nydia L.

Thank you! Ordered a few to keep on hand; we still don’t know what this upcoming school year will look like.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

You’re welcome! Glad you could score some, Nydia L!

      GREAT! You’re welcome, Tara!

  6. Shoppingfan

Thxs! Being essential I’m trying to have at least 6 so that I can rotate them & let them breathe after washing. Will try these out. Thxs!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      Good idea! You’re SO welcome!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

How generous! 💖 You’re very welcome, Heather!

  7. Sjeabee

Thank you! I’m going to Target and look on my day off 😊

Nice price, thanks for posting! Got some for me and my little.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome! Happy you could grab them!

  11. Jen

    Are these only single layer?

    • obler

I just picked up a couple packages. The packaging says Non surgical, machine washable, built-in filter pocket (not included), Wash before use. 100% cotton. They’re generously sized and double layered. I got the s/m and it’s loose on my face, I’m average size. They feel thin. I guess I need to figure out a good filter system. Any ideas?

      • Sarah

You could just use a piece of a paper towel if you really need a “filter” or you don’t even need a filter if its double layered. You don’t want anything too thick because you already have 2 layers here.

        • oo

Unfortunately a regular paper towel doesn’t do much… blue shop towels are however recommended filters.

        • cfayinflorida

Coffee filters. Check online and see what the professionals are saying – I see these mentioned quite a bit. Going to try this myself when I order these from Target.

      • Crescent City Couponer

Thank you so much for the details regarding thickness and size. I guess I’ll be returning the large ones. Could you measure yours and post the horizontal and vertical dimensions? Thanks

        • obler

The L/XL folded in half is 5 1/4 (10.5 inches of material) across the face and 6 inches from the bottom of the chin to the top of the nose. My husband tried it on and it’s a bit loose. The S/M is 4.5 folded across and 5.5 top to bottom. The kid size is 4 inches across and 5 inches nose bridge to chin. The elastic is soft.

          • Lisha

Thanks for taking the time to share the dimensions. It is appreciated.

          • Ms

Thank you so much for the dimension!

      • Ms

I read in Business Insider that 2 blue shop towel with a tighter fitting mask can block upto 95% particles so that’s what I plan to use as filters.

      • Dee

        Coffee filters.

      • Sophia

You can actually buy Air conditioning filters. The Filtrete Advanced allergy filters block out virus and bacteria. A large one is $13 and you will have enough to cut and keep reusing for a while. YOu can find these at Target as well as walmart.

        • Lisha

Thanks for sharing this info. I need to buy a/c filters for the a/c’s anywAy.

          • Anna

That is old info. HVAC filter is not meant for this kind of use, and doctors have warned about tiny dust particles being inhaled as harmful for lungs.

      • sophia

They were also a little big on me, but I just made a small loop at the end of each side and it fits perfect now!

      • Michelle

The health department actually said you can use disposable coffee filters for the filter.

They are designed for PM2.5 filters. Vera Bradley sells the filters. I’ve seen them for sale on Rite Aides website but I don’t know if still available. As others have said blue shop towels are quite effective and supported by research. I’ve seen coffee filters suggested but haven’t seen the research on it personally but seems very logical to me. .

  12. queen62

    Excellent price. Thanks

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re welcome!

  13. eiaj25

    Ty so much

  14. Denise

Thank you so much! I have a few but my daughter is supposed to start cosmetology school in late July.. if it ever opens back up in CA… and she will definitely need multiple so we are not daily washing! Thanks again 🙂

  15. Crescent City Couponer

Thanks for posting. I do have an issue with Target though.

The product doesn’t list the dimensions of each size, nor does it say if there’s a pocket or only a single layer of fabric, but they are taking returns. So I’ll check them out when I pick them up.

    • Ms

I’m trying to figure out the dimension myself as there are different dimension listed under details fit & style vs specification dimension. On your other question, from Q & A: Q: Is there a pocket to add filter material if I want better filtration? A: There are 2 layers of fabric. The edges near the elastic are not sewn together so you can insert a filter if you prefer.

  16. Ms

Does anyone notice the size under details vs specifications are different for some colors? Also, dimension under specifications for size S/M red & pink are smaller than the blue & black ones? Just trying to figure out the actual dimension before ordering. I tried chat with Target and there are no live chat currently.

  17. Kathleen

The WHO recommends a triple layer mask, with a filter added to the three layers as extra protection 🤷‍♀️ guess if you can’t find anyone local making adequate masks, you’ve got to go with these…

    • snezhinka

what do you use for a filter?

      • queen62

You can use a coffee filter, paper towel just do the blow out a match test.

They are designed for PM2.5 filters. Vera Bradley sells them, Rite Aid, Amazon. Shop towels are a cheaper alternative and have tested as quite effective. I’ve seen coffee filters suggested as well.

  18. Melanie

We have the kids ones posted here. They are comfortable and fit my 7 & 12 year olds well. They are a soft T-shirt material.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Thanks for the feedback, Melanie! Good to know how nice they are!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

SWEET! Thank you! That option has been added!

      • Jackie

Yes! I went to the store and they had the kids one. Got some for my girls 👍😁

        • Rachel

Where did you find them in-store?

          • Jackie

Yes! They had a ton at the store BUT they also have them on line I just found them on line also. Search for- kids’ 2pk cloth face masks. They have pink, blue and black available.

          • Jackie

Oh an pd I found them by the sunglasses. It was between the girls department and the sunglasses/ jewelry department. They had a big two side display thing with adult sizes and kids. Also noticed they had a second display by the girls section with just kids ones.

  19. t

    where are they made?

    • Jackie

Surprise surprise…China! I didn’t see that until after I bought them. They have a little paper inside and it says China 🤦‍♀️☹️

    • Maria

They are made in China…no thanks

  20. Amber

Just curious..how are ya’ll cleaning the fabric mask? Hand wash with mild detergent? But does that disinfect it?

    • Jackie

You can just throw it into the wash. It also says to hang dry it. The UV rays of the sun will kill any bacteria. I think it says that also because it might shrink in the dryer. I will throw mine into the dryer because I would like it a little more snug. It’s the same thing that I do with my Vera Bradley masks. The heat of the dryer will also kill any viruses just like the UV rays 👍😉

      • Amber

        Thank you Jackie!

        • Jackie

You are welcome Amber! And stay safe 😊

          • Amber

Thank you, same to you 🙂

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

We throw ours in the washer on hot. We air dry them because my husband doesn’t like the smell of dryer sheets right on his face. You can dry them. Mine are handmade and when we dry them they wrinkle, however as soon as you put them on your face they unwrinkle. Hope that makes sense!

      • Amber

        Thank you Jennifer!

      • patricialavenz-goff

Never thought of that but we don’t use dryer sheets or fabric softener but I agree I wouldn’t like it either.

    • Shoppingfan

I’ve been hand washing mine with super hot water. I wear gloves that hold off the heat so the water gets super hot & I use Dawn. I air dry mine & try not to use it for 2-3 days if possible. A nurse told me that many of them in the Texas Med Ctr due this when they are off shift. They also spray with Lysol.

  21. sophia

Yes i wash at the end of my day. I am using Lysol laundry sanitizer.but If didnt have it I would feel comfortable washing it throughly in soap and water.

  22. Amber

    Thank you Sophia!

  23. J.H.509

I am VERY appreciative at the fact that my mom is a seamstress and made her family and mine masks. However with supplies still limited like elastic we had to be creative and use drawstrings from my husband and son’s basketball shorts. It worked out in the end. She even made a pocket for a filter. Stay safe everyone

    • Anna

Check eBay for elastic. Make sure you choose USA seller not Chinese.

  24. Kathy

I use wool dryer balls when I dry mine, then you don’t have any smell. Or if they like, put a few drops of essintial oil on the dry ball, then you pick your favorite smell.

  25. Kelly

Just ordered 3 sets and at the top of my order screen it said “possible delay in shipping due to high demand items”…the arrival date originally showed 6/15. Great deal regardless.

    • queen62

I ordered today 7 packs and 3 were already shipped.

  26. ElleS

Perfect timing! We just received several masks we ordered a month ago from Zulily, and they were too small for my sons. Therefore, I was needing to find some L/XL masks (black masks). Thank you so very much for posting this Target find!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You are welcome, ElleS! I am glad this fits your needs!

  27. Michigan lady

    Are masks still a thing?

    • rochellemcgee

Not ‘round here (I’m in central Fl). The fact that our heat index was 106 today might have something to do with that!

      • Rebecca

Um, I’m in central FL & they’re definitely still recommended. Not super hard to see why we’re having a surge huh.🙄

        • rochellemcgee

Um, I neither commented on the efficacy or recommendations, just that I don’t see much use in my area because it’s really hot. I wear one in certain circumstances and yesterday it was unbearable. And “surge” is quite debatable due to increased testing and the fact that people are going back to work, which was inevitable. The goal was never eradication. Why so rude?

          • Rebecca

Sorry, just see 90% of ppl out without masks & they all have some excuse so🤷. The increase or whatever you want to call it is not all just from increased testing, ppl are getting complacent.

    • Amber

Unfortunately in NY, yes. Even if we are 8 hours from NYC….

    • Luv2save2

Is there still a virus out there?

    • Jackie

From KS and they might have the kids wear them when school starts in August. And to tell you the truth I am all for that. Kids are little germ magnets so anything that will help control this virus I am all for. Here it is not mandatory to wear them when you go out but it’s strongly encourage to. I would say that when you go out 85% of the people are wearing them.

    • Deb

I don’t know where in MI you live but wear I live I’m happy to see most people wearing them. I live with a RN that deals with covid patients, wear one, you never know if I’ll be standing next to you. 🙂

  28. Mandy

I have $40 Gapcash that I don’t use. The following is the code.

    PVMY3CJN27B1

    • Candy

      Says invalid or expired

  29. Ali

Even though these masks are returnable, remember that if you return them after you try them on, they probably cannot (or shouldn’t) resell them. It is great that everyone is giving info on the quality etc and teaching how to adjust the masks, so that people can know beforehand if the masks will be sufficient for them, so that they don’t go to waste and land in landfills. I feel like this is one of the few times that homemade is actually better than retail, which all of us are really not used to. We are so used to buying clothes, shoes, handbags etc at stores that are so much better than anything we could make ourselves. Face shapes/sizes are so different that it isn’t surprising adjustments really need to be made for better fits.

    • Emily

I have been making masks since the beginning of the pandemic (before the first case was confirmed in my state), and I have found that the pleated style masks are much more forgiving with regards to sizing than the “darth vader” style ones.

  30. Angela

What size is good for a adult female? Anyone have any opinions?

    • Jackie

S/M. I got the S/M one and My 16 year old son tried the L/XL and it was way too big on him. He also got the S/M one and he is a good 155 lbs and 6 feet tall right now. My husband is 6’2” around 200 lbs and the L/XL worked for him so you have to be big to be able to wear the L/XL one.

    • Lisa JP

I got the small/medium and it’s huge on my face and not useable.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      SWEET! You’re most welcome!

  31. Mh

The kids ones run large..!! They fit on my adult female face, but come off my (pointy) nose when I open my mouth. Too big for my 6yr old but they fit my 12yr old. I will have to alter the ear loops to shorten them so they fit my 6yr old. Just a heads up. Still worth the price even with a little sewing needed.

    • Jackie

Weird….The one I got my 11 year old girl fits perfect and she is petite. Now my 14 year old (also petite girl) needs the adult s/m the kids one was too small.

  32. Linda

Thank you for posting! I ordered today with my Red Card.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

      You’re so welcome, Linda!

  33. Valerie0408

Thanks for wearing a mask Stetson.

  34. patricialavenz-goff

I got mine with a target gift card and shipping was free. I hope they fit. Thanks for letting me know about the coffee filter insert.

  35. NICOLE

Ordered yesterday pick up on Saturday. Glad I looked on this site.

  36. m

I ordered 5 packs for my kids, i was so excited. 1 out of 10 pairs fit my 5 year old with a round face. swam on the toddler. don’t recommend these at all for smaller aged kids… since they’re supposed to be wearing for age 2& up, wish there was a toddler size. guess if you’re desperate you could always cut & try to re attach, but at that point you’d have to know how to sew… they feel like the $3 solid cotton bananas from target, and the earloops feel like hosiery/nylon…do you remember those old loops & loom materials… stretch out over time. just feedback in case u were on the fence. carter’s has started selling some, 1 for $3, pleated style.
