I am SO OBSESSED with this super comfy tee! As a mom of two under two, my body is not in the best shape these days which means I am NOT looking to wear tight clothing. Anyone else understand?! Sooooo, I was on the hunt for the most perfect basic t-shirt that was cute and flattering (while still being loose-fitting).

Cue this AE Boyfriend T-Shirt… it’s everything my t-shirt dreams are made of and I love that it can be “dressed up” or “dressed down”. I am telling you… you won’t be missing out if you purchase this t-shirt!

On the fence? Here are even more awesome reviews…

I ordered two of these shirts and absolutely LOVE them. So lightweight and soft. I did downsize to a medium and they’re still quite baggy so I would recommend sizing down from your regular size.

I now have 5 of these t-shirts in different colors. They are SO comfortable and lightweight, but still SUPER cute. It’s oversized so it does run large. These are my go-to summer shirts now.

I have several of these shirts and love them!!! I’m even wearing one right now. They are pretty oversized!! I’m currently 9 mos pregnant and can wear an xs at 5’4 145 lbs 😉

Can you tell me what the material it is made of? Does it stretch at all?
      Thank you 😊

      • Amber R. (Hip Sidekick)

Hey Ana! It’s made of 100% cotton. And YES, very stretchy!

          😊 thank you

Are these long enough to offer coverage with leggings? I couldn’t tell from the pictures. Thanks!

    • Amber R. (Hip Sidekick)

Yes yes YES they are! I wear them everyday with leggings! I am 5’8 and I wear a Medium. If you’re looking for extra extra long maybe size just a bit up?!

        Thank you!!

Very comfy, great for pregnancy and post. But they wrinkle so easy, I don’t wear them out in public

    • Amber R. (Hip Sidekick)

I agree, they do wrinkle easily! I usually keep them hung up!

Thanks for your comment. They look pretty rumpled in the picture and I was wondering if they would look unkempt. Not for me, if I look like I just rolled out of bed in one!

I Love the Boyfriend fit style, but I was seriously fed up with the pink women’s tax I pay on most my products(I hit 30 so I’m done with all things ridiculous). Recently I went to Walmart to buy just basic t-shirts for work and all the women’s styles were so thin, see thru and short and their weren’t many color choices. I walked right over to the men section got some basic “genuine” boyfriend tees in pink(yes they had baby pink!), teal, purple, black, grey and white for literally half the price and they were long and thick material. Hope this tip helps some other lady too. Thanks H2S for all the deals I love all the positive posts and diy you throw in too it makes it such a fun blog!

      I buy man’s t-shirts as well 🙂 I don’t like how short are the women’s. I am not skinny and I don’t like them.

    • Kaylee

Ooh good idea! I have big arms/shoulders so that may be a better alternative anyway! And yes, hate the short length they sell now!

    • K

Lol I said basically the same thing before I read the comments. Yeah go with men’s t-shirts all the way, they’re better in so many ways, and cheaper too.

    • Amber R. (Hip Sidekick)

I have to admit ladies… I often raid my husbands t-shirt section of his drawers for some comfy clothes. It all started when I was pregnant but, it’s continued beyond lol

Honestly I frequently just buy men’s t-shirts because they’re way more comfortable, cheaper and fit better than women’s. Plus men’s t-shirts usually have cool graphics on them that’s hard to find for women like star wars and super heroes. I frequently find $5 men’s graphic t-shirts but forget finding them in women’s at all, it’s almost impossible.
