I upgraded from a KitchenAid basic tilt-head to this wonderful 6 qt professional bowl-lift mixer. What a huge difference. I love the power and elegance of this. It fits on my counter below the upper cabinet with room to spare and no more having to move it out to tilt the head anymore.
If you have considered getting this but just aren’t sure, I say go for it! It’s wonderful, and Costco has the best deals and return policy around. I’m sure you will get it home and fall in love with it.
Although I cook and/or bake every day, I have never purchased a stand mixer due to limited counter space. However, a painful wrist made the purchase a necessity. It runs very quietly.
I didn’t think it would be able to whip a small amount of whipping cream, because the whip didn’t quite reach the bottom. Not a problem – it whipped just fine. Mashed potatoes, pizza dough, cookies, and cakes, have all turned out great!

I appreciate you posting this deal as I am looking for a deal on a KitchenAid mixer. The membership fee increases the price, and since we don’t have a Costco in our area I am going to pass on this one. Please post if there is good deal from another store.

I use my professional mixer all the time. I’ve had it for probably close to 15 years. Carted all around the country. This is a great deal. Less then what I bought mine on eBay for.
