I bought 3 different patterns of these. Although they are pretty, none of them fit right. None of them have the same fit. They are loose and awkward and move around. They are non-returnable (as they should be!). I would not waste your money in these!!
Did you washed them in hot water and dried them all the way? They shrink a lot. After doing that they should fit good 😉
No I have not tried washing them yet as I bought other masks (different company) so have been wearing my new ones. I’ll try the hot water truck-thanks for the advice!!
Yes, do wash in hot water and throw in dryer. I wash and dry them in a lingerie bag. After they shrink a bit they are the best fitting masks I have found and love that they are cotton which makes them breathable in the Florida heat. I have ordered several times and even sent some to my mom. After washing and drying hers, she loves them too. (My teenager is wearing them too.)
Awesome I will try this! Thank you😊
These masks are SO comfortable. Don’t hurt your ears and there’s breathing room!! Perfect fit and I have a narrow face.
I ordered a face mask on May 27 and have yet to receive it! I contacted Vera Bradley numerous times, and have been told to be patient, due to Covid there are delays in shipping. My item shows shipped June 6. Thoroughly disappointed in the lack of follow up with Vera Bradley at tracking down my package. I’ve been a loyal customer for years but will no longer order online.
I had the same issues. I placed three orders the same day. I received two of them but the one with the black masks took forever. Same as you, showing shipped. I finally received it two days ago. It looks like they are sending new/better ones and that’s why it’s taking longer. The black masks that I had before were just plain ones, the new ones have a VB white tag on them. I actually like them better.
The Covid excuse is a lie, and was only true in the first month or so. I have been getting shipments from Chewy, Walmart, Ebay, and Amazon. They all come within 48 hours to at most 5 days. My friend has an ebay business and he is not having any problems at all.
The problem is that for some odd reason VB starts the shipment with UPS then at some point transfers it over to USPS. My order sat at the post office for over a week. I live in San Jose so there was no way I was going to start driving around to figure which one it was at. This happened to me before with another company that used both carriers and my items were shipped back and forth near my city but not to my house. They could easily be shipped first class mail because they weigh less than 13 oz. unless you have a large number of masks.
I called VB customer service and all she did was yell over me. It was the rudest customer service experience I have ever had. So I waited just short of a month for two masks. The print is cute but the fabric is paper thin. You will have to use a filter to make it effective. And yes, they are huge but I will try the hot water trick and see if that works.
These are fantastic. I have about 20 now with 4 more on order. I can see how they might be too large for smaller faces, but they work perfectly for me. I wear glasses so it’s hard to find a mask that doesn’t fog them up. When I get the nose part up under my glasses and the chin part below the chin, they work perfectly! I use them when I mow the yard–that’s a couple of hours there–and any other time I’m outside or doing housework. I have severe allergies and asthma. I have yet to try the filters in them, so I don’t know how that will work, but I really love the designs they have and have bought several for my adult daughter. She loves them too and they don’t fog up her contacts like some.
Don’t be upset if these sell out. I wasn’t at all impressed with the one I received a few weeks ago. Poor fit, thin material.
I purchased some of these the last time they were posted and I,.too, was disappointed. They are very thin and very big. I haven’t tried washing them yet, but I will. It’s just not the quality I had expected from VB. I purchased better masks from Etsy at a way better price.
Was at Meijer the other day and they had face masks packaged/sold individually for $3.99 each. All kinds of designs and adjustable ear pieces. They were at different spots in the handbag/sunglass areas.
These shrink a lot…unfortunately now that they have shrunk they do not fit my face right. I suggest hand washing!
I love the ones I purchased from Vera Bradley. I also bought the filters. After washing they fit great and are comfortable. I also have some from local makers in mysterious area but they are even thicker and makes it hard to breath.
Meant “my area” not mysterious- autocorrect is annoying
Lol. I was intrigued about the mysterious area!
My masks from Vera Bradley fit perfectly. Not too tight so I can’t breathe, and not too loose. They are too loose for my 13 year old daughter. My only surprise was that they have a tag that says “made in China” and their stories on their website made me believe that the Indiana factory was making these.
Thank you for all the tips on shrinkage. I’ve avoided these until now due to the comments on how huge they are. Excited to try one now!
They’re amazing!
these do not fit; the ear loops are not elastic.. luckily only $8 wasted.. target has some much better ones!
We have 12 masks (among our household of 3- solid black for the hubby) and all our ear loops are elastic and fit great after washing in hot water and drying on regular setting in the dryer.
Mine doesn’t have elastic loops.
How odd yours don’t have elastic. I have at least 20 VB masks and all have elastic. It looks like fabric but it’s elastic.
I thought so too. The loops are just the binding. Makes for a very loose fit.
I love my VB mask so much that I ordered another one today! TFS!
For 4 years I’ve been going back and forth on what to do with my beloved VB diaper bag that is on its last legs. But I had a lightbulb and I’m going to make a few masks from the darling fabric.
We didn’t like this masks at all and were happy we only ordered one to try. They were super big and a horrible fit. We purchased from head covers and love
