Did you use any balance rewards points to pay? If so that reduces the amount you actually spent and reduces the points earned. It is also something people should know for the P&G reward as well since that requires actual dollars to be spent and not any type of reward points.

      • Kathy

        I did not. I spent the $60+

      • Kathryn

        No points used.

    I can’t find the 5,000 points for $25?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Sign into your account, go to coupons and sort them by expiration date. When I did that, it was the 3rd coupon for me.

  8. Nn4ever

I bought the exact stuff listed but forgot that with my discount it got to $58.56 after tax. Do you know if I still get 20,000 points? The subtotal was $76

Walgreens is to the exact penny of spending requirements so I’m not optimistic. You could always call customer service and ask though.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

The fine print says, “Purchase requirement must be met in a single transaction, before taxes and shipping, and after discounts, store credit and redemption dollars have been applied.” This means you must pay out at least the $60 before tax.

    • Pan

My expertise with Walgreens customer services always been positive. Explain to them and ask them if they will add points. Most likely they will.

  9. Fran

Is there a code for the senior day discount online? It is this Tues., so that could sweeten this deal.

Senior20 for full priced brand name. Senior30 for full priced Walgreens items. It doesn’t work on b2 g1 etc. Do this deal exactly as written for it to work. For both Walgreens and P&G you must spend the exact amount. Of course you could work your own variation. Another factor is things sell out very quickly with good deals.

  10. Pamommy

I’m not finding any shave creams available. Anyone else have this issue ?

    • O

Yes,but you look up coupons than clip shop. Millions times easier

      • Pamommy

        ThAnks that worked !

    • llc

Go to the coupons and click available items. It will show all products it applies too. So much easier that way.

  11. O

It’s weird . Shows estimated points 67,000 than at payment checkout 37,000….

    • kedwards24

Mine says estimated 27,840 at checkout…

      • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You won’t know the actual points awarded right away. In the app watch your order details for the final details. With something like bonus points those will show up later usually at ship date.

    • llc

Same here. 55800 before. 20830 at submit order

  12. Pamommy

Mine says 32840 points on this order. Does anyone know how to fix this?

  13. SuperSaver

How do you find rebate forms or specifications? Arm and hammer detergent says there is a rebate available in the app but I can’t figure out how to see the details.

  14. Cindy

Did this deal except bought 2 face washes. They are b1g1 50% off and have a $3 digital coupon when you buy 2. Thanks Hip2save!!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

    • Natalie

Cindy, thanks for pointing that out. Did you remove any of the items listed in the deal above? I really don’t want the Venus razor, and am trying to figure out if there are any substitutions. Thanks!

      • Cindy

no Natalie. Did the same deal, just added another face wash since it was so inexpensive.

        • Natalie

          Thanks for letting me know!

  16. Renee Burke

Got it, thank you! After tax my total was $68.48 with 79,600 points. Plus the rebate mail in!

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome!

  17. Joanne C.

    I can’t find the King C Razor ……

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I can still see it on a desktop computer. If you are using the app, you may want to switch over.

  18. Erin Matlock

Is there a way to see what you have earned the points on? My point total also when down on the final page but I can’t see the breakdown of it.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You should earn 10,000 Points for the King C Razor, 10,000 points for the Olay Body wash, 4,000 points from the two shaving creams, and 3,000 points from Venus Razor.
Plus, you’ll get 15,000 points for spending $50 on select beauty items.
5,000 points for $25 purchase when you clip the coupon
AND lastly 20,000 points for spending $60.
      Grand total of 67,000 points!

      • Lorraine Copeland

The 15k points for spending $50 on beauty is that suppose to be on our app. Mine says 5k for beauty and personal items

        • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey, Lorraine! You should see that offer listed on all applicable products. It’s not a coupon you have to load; it’s automatic.

  19. llc

Rakuten is 3% cash back too

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Thanks!

  20. Susan

Boo 🙄 all play body wash out of stock online. I was literally just going to buy those mostly .. not really use otter stuff on the list. I can’t find Venus razor coupon to clip as well.

  21. cilla

I cant find the 5,000 balance rewards points either and I did what was mentioned to go to coupons and sort by expiration date they said was the third one?? I never hardly order much so not sure why i dont see it? also should this deal work in store too not just online?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

You’ll also want to make sure your balance rewards card is connected to your account. After you are logged in, go to your account and balance rewards.

      • cilla

When i click on balance rewards it does show a balance rewards number? I do want to mention that my store used to be a rite aid and it changed to walgreens , but i do have an account and am logged in and it does show a rewards number, i dont think i actually have a walgreens actual card but it seems like i am registered?

        • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

I’m wondering if it didn’t change over all the info right for you. I think this is a good time to call customer service so they can help. I’m sorry, cilla. Please let us know what happens.

          • llc

I’m a member, signed in and even went thru coupons one by one and then sorted by amount. No 5000 points for me. It seems not everyone got them.

            • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Did you also look under clipped coupons? Maybe you already clipped it? I’m sorry.

Can’t guarantee this will work for you but give it a try. I use the app. Make sure you are logged in and your rewards card is connected to the app. Go to coupons and sort the coupons alphabetical order. I usually find this type of coupon in the “s” position —for save I guess. In the app you will see 3 categories, available, clipped, used. Check and make sure that you didn’t already use it.

  22. Julie

Just a heads up for anyone doing the deal. I recently did a deal (not posted here) but I was supposed to earn 32,000 they gave me 10,000. When I called they were not very friendly and just kept repeating points can vary and they said they have a disclaimer on the site. They were somewhat rude saying they would go out of business if they gave 32,000 points on a $45 order. Overall not a great experience so proceed with caution if your counting on these points. If you need these items anyway- then it seems like a great deal. They did give a what they called a 10,000 point courtesy.

I love Walgreens deals but you have to know their rules backwards, forwards and sideways. They are very, very different from say CVS but they do make sense when you read through. I would have to know the exact deal to be able to comment on what went wrong but if you go back and look at it and post the details I probably could because I’ve made every mistake under the sun learning at Walgreens. The first screen where it gives estimated points is very possibly not accurate and should not be counted on. They do post this in much nicer language. Bonus points such as in this deal won’t show up right away. On this deal here are a few things that could go wrong when substituting items: not meeting the spend requirements to the penny, thinking tax dollars count, not understanding that while manufacturer coupons are included in the spend total Walgreens digital coupons do NOT count in the spend total, using a balance reward or a Walgreens gift card to pay, forgetting you have already gotten the P&G rebate. So sorry you had a bad Walgreens customer experience.

      • Julie

Thank you JD827. I really appreciate that. Since then I only order if it’s items I use and the sale prices or coupons make the price points to where I would normally purchase. I consider the points just a nice bonus now.
I will say I did not know by us points post at a different time so your comments were helpful as well

I’m glad I helped a little. I track my orders in the app which I find very helpful. Until it ships the order is listed as pending with zero points. At shipping is when I notice the points are listed but at the very end of the ordering process the app states that points will be rewarded up to 48 hours after shipping and sometimes it will take that much time. The process is pretty opaque.

      • rhiannas

Can you only do the P & G rebate once? Thanks.

Yes. However they will probably have another in the Fall. If you get the Sunday paper watch for the P&G coupon insert to have the rebate form.

  23. Jessica

I had a 7,000 reward points with $45 purchase. I *think* I did everything right. Do I have to wait until the items arrive to submit for the P&G rebate ?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      Yes, you do.

  24. Diane

When calculating the $50, does P&G count all coupons, 10% 0ff AND the rewards points against the purchase price?

You must spend that $50 out of pocket. It is on the rebate form. I did it earlier this summer. Rewards points used to pay for it count against the total but not points you earn.

      • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

        Perfect explanation, JD827! Thanks!

  25. llc

The king razor was out of stock. Go to that coupon and found a 6 pk of venus razors. Also did 2 of the olay face washes since they are b1g1. Also no $5 off $25 coupon. It wont be a money maker because I could never reach the points. Mine were at 55,800 (maybe because of the kind deal). But I did reach $60 before taxes. So I’ll pay about $10 after rebate and points if it goes as stated.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Sounds like an awesome deal to me!

  26. Diane

Wow! Said Estimated points were 66,090 in my cart… went to check out and that number dropped down to 31,090! 🙁

    • Chelsey (Hip Sidekick)

Oh no! Have you already grabbed any of the offers, that may reduce the amount of points you’re receiving. Also, if you’re changing out products make sure that you have at least $50 of P&G personal care as that’s a 15,000 point offer!

      • Diane

I’ve got an $88 order. And only the Arm & Hammer detergent is not P&G. I’m done. Not a fan of companies that cannot fulfil what is advertised. Thanks for posting… not all your wonderful offers work out.

  27. Vanessa

The amount of points shown is much lower on the final page. I did screen shot the amount of points on the first page. Just out of curiosity anyone know what their return policy is? If If don’t get all of the points it would not be a good deal for me and I would have to return the items.

If you are near a physical store just take the items along with the packing slip to the store. It will be easy.

  28. Vanessa

In my comment above, I forgot to say, thank you for posting this deal Hip2save. I wouldn’t have know about this deal if it wasn’t for you all.

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

You’re so very welcome. Vanessa! We sure do love cooking up hot deals!

  29. Lexy

Can I use $50 in points to lower down the out pocket cost???

  30. Kenna

How are you getting all the reward points

  31. mel1313

    I earned $72 in points thanks hip2save.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      You are welcome, mel1313!

    • mel1313

Update body washes never shipped so I got a grand total of zero points. The rest of my order arrived so unfortunately I’ll have to go in to the store to return everything.

  32. Donna

when everything is in my cart it says my total is $60.85 and estimated points on this order:62,840. When I go to pay for the order it says Estimated points on this order:27,840. I waited forever on hold for customer service. I finally got someone and she said she would have to transfer me to the online order people. She did and they had some message about there not being anyone available and the call disconnected. I am not willing to risk doing this if I won’t get the points. I will keep the screens open on my computer and maybe try calling tomorrow.

    • Tonya M

Donna, It told me 67,840 but then at check out it tells me 32,840. I’m on chat with Walgreens now and here is the response I got:
I’m looking at the rewards it tells me I will get 67,840 but now that I’m checking out it tells me only 32,840
Me: can u tell me why?
Gabriel C: Yes the estimated points does not guarantee you will earn exactly that, If you redeem points or use coupons, it will lower the points you can earn to even 0.

  33. Jo Askdhem

Doesn’t work. At final check out my cost went up by 20+ dollars. These things never work for me. Sad.

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

Were you logged into your account and is your balance rewards card connected? You may want to look again. And look at checkout to make sure all coupons applied. If not, you can click on them again to apply. Hoping this helps!

    • Cheryl

They rarely work for me either. It seems they work for just the first handful of people and that’s it. Then they are either sold out or the deal doesn’t work….but Hip2Save is generating traffic (us) to Walgreen’s.

  34. Kim

Can you do this in store also?

    • Jennifer (Hip Sidekick)

      This is valid online only.

  35. Kim

Why does my bonus points only calculate to 55,950

  36. Cheryl

The Olay body wash is either sold out or not sold online except for Rosewater. Hopes up for nothing.

  37. Tonya M

This deal is not working for me. I’m logged in and have the same total as above. the 10% takes off 4.41 and I have $17 in cpns. My tax is $6.36 making my total $69.08. I go to check out and it tells me that I will earn 67,840 but once I get to submit payment it only tells me 32,840. So I went to Walgreens chat and this is what he told me:

I’m looking at the rewards it tells me I will get 67,840 but now that I’m checking out it tells me only 32,840
Me: can u tell me why?
Gabriel C: Yes the estimated points does not guarantee you will earn exactly that, If you redeem points or use coupons, it will lower the points you can earn to even 0

That’s a very broad general answer he gave you. Using manufacturer’s coupons does not reduce rewards earned but using Walgreens coupons will reduce balance rewards earned. If there is a dollar threshold required in the deal such as “spend $50 and earn 15,000 points” than no you can’t both redeem points and earn points. BUT in a deal such as “buy two razors and earn 5,000 points” you may both redeem and earn points. He gave you an answer that is broadly true but skips a lot. The part about the coupons raises my eyebrows a little.

      • Tonya M

I asked him again and of course he applied with the same answer. I just need to know why it states that I’m going to get 32,840 at check out. I’m not really a Walgreens shopper ever since they changed their rewards so I don’t know how it’s “really” suppose to work.

  38. julia

for the p&g rebate, do all items have to be purchased in a single transaction?

    • Vanessa

No it does not. I did mine and submitted it online, a couple weeks ago – I submitted 8 receipts with mine.

  39. Kathryn

    UPDATE:

I received notification my complete order has shipped (yea).

Checked my account and ALL the points have posted (yea, again)!

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Woohoo! That’s great to hear! Thanks for the update, Kathryn!

  40. kady

Thank you hip2save for this post.
Is the 20,000 pts wyb 60+ one time use only offer or do we get the bonus pts every time we make 60+ over transaction?
The same question with the 15k bonus pts wyb 50 on select P&G beauty/personal care items offer too.
I purchased P&G oral products yesterday hit 60 and received both 20k and 15k points after my order shipped this morning.
I would like to purchase olay/old spice products also while this wonderful deal is on.
Will we get the bonus points again or is there any restriction on the bonus points offer?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Kady! You’re so welcome! I did speak with customer service and did confirm that the 20,000 points offer when you purchase $60+ is good on each qualifying transaction you make. The 15,000 points offer is valid just once. Hoping this helps!

What do you do if they are all out of the Olay Bodywash? Can this deal still be done or something close to it? Thank you!

  42. Kate

Body wash not available. Can you suggest a substitute to make this work?

    • Stacy F (Hip2Save Sidekick)

Hey, Kate! All of these Olay, Secret, Old Spice body washes/deodorants are included in the buy 4, get 10,000 points offer and most I am clicking through are eligible for the $5/4 coupon as well.

  43. Emily

Can this deal for 20k points and 15k points be done multiple times if it is a different transaction?

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Hi Emily! The $20 reward can be earned multiple times. The $15 rebate has a limit of one and the 5,000 rewards offer will apply once. Hope this helps!

Half of my order shipped and the body washes were cancelled due to being out of stock. So I didn’t get bonus points. Will be returning the items that were shipped.

      Same. Didn’t work for me.

  45. Kathy

Did anyone get this deal to work? I had the same issue with the 60k points turning to 27k points. Then my order shipped in two different boxes (so 2 different receipt for the P&G rebate – will they allow that) and this morning I logged into my rewards and it has a 0 balance. I’m taking it all back to the store. This didn’t work at all!

    • mel1313

      Didn’t work for me either.

  46. Kenna

Did not work for me and the order still shows pending on my credit card. Walgreens should be more prepared
