Costco is reducing its special shopping hours.
In an effort to make shopping a little safer for vulnerable shoppers, many stores have been offering special shopping hours for senior citizens. Costco has been offering these special shopping hours Monday-Friday to allow at-risk shoppers a chance to get what they need in the safest environment possible while avoiding the crowds.
However, beginning July 13th, Costco will be reducing their special operating hours to just twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 am to 10 am. The special shopping hours are limited to those ages 60 and older and for those with disabilities or who are immunocompromised.
For more information about Costco’s special operating hours and a list of excluded locations, check out their COVID Updates page here.
Costco will still be offering priority access for healthcare workers and first responders to move to the front of the line at any time, and they will still require face coverings in order to enter the store.
