Keep your home clean and virus-free!

The US Environmental Protection Agency has approved two Lysol cleaners that have proven to kill Coronavirus – Lysol Disinfectant Max Cover Mist and Lysol Disinfectant Spray.

Note that while other products may prove effective, these are the first two that have actually been tested against Coronavirus. Products are continually being tested against the virus so hopefully, we’ll see more products added to the list that effectively kill the virus.

Lysol products as well as other cleaning products have been hard to find since the start of Coronavirus, but keep an eye out as stores are trying to keep shelves stocked!

Haven’t seen any since 🥺March. Thankfully this is were being a germaphobic pays off 😂because I had 5 bottles in my house. We are down to one now but I just can’t find it anywhere.

    • Vanessa

Me too Jackie. I’ve had several cans before pandemic started – same with Lysol wipes. Who would’ve thought that being a germaphobe would pay off during a crisis…lol

      • Jackie

Vanessa we (us germaphobics) have been training for this for year 🤷‍♀️😂. That’s what one of my friends said to me and I hate to say it but that’s totally true.

I’m with ya’ll, another germaphobe in the building 😆. I’ve always had a whole basket full of disinfectant wipes under the cabinet over the years. Use them daily and now they that are hard to find…I’m down to two bottles. Hoping to find some within the next month. It will keep my sanity ahahah 😎😜.

I’m also a germaphobe lol. Thank God I had about 5 bottles of Lysol when this started. I’ve run through them already sadly though!

    • Mommyx6

I’ve ordered it with my amazon fresh purchase several times. Maybe try that.

      • Mommyx6

I also got a 4 pack at Costco a couple weeks ago. It’s hit or miss there.

…Yet since early April there haven’t been any cans of Lysol on the shelves.. at least in my area.

Germaphobe here too! I have 5 kids. Three in school. I had a stock of gloves, masks, Lysol wipes, and Lysol spray. Staff at my kids peds and urgent care office used to laugh at me when I’d walk in with masks on. I told them one day….. bet your not laughing now. Lol. But I can’t find any spray. Now we’re def not gonna find any spray.

    • Sue

Yeah I have 6 kids. The pediatrician office has carpet! Yuck! Imagine how many times someone threw up on it! There are splatters on the walls, and spiderwebs in the patient rooms. It’s so yucky.

If you’ve ordered Lysol From Amazon before… Check your Amazon virtual Dash buttons -you should see a Lysol dash button. You can order Lysol from your dash button even if it’s out of stock! I have received two orders doing it by this method.

    • Amber (Hip Sidekick)

Oh cool! Thanks for the tip, Cat!

    • Allie

Thank you for the info, I found the button but when I click it says currently unavailable.

    • April

Thanks so much for sharing. I was able to get some Lysol wipes this way.

  5. JMonte509

SAME HERE…I’m a complete germaphobe as well. I have a daughter with a lower immune system who works in the medical field so I had Lysol before the Pandemic hit. Keep safe 🙏

  6. queen62

I still have some from my stockpile. My family thinks I’m crazy but who do they call when they can’t find toilet paper, paper towel Lysol wipes and spray I’m good. In Ct. willing to share locally

  7. Queenie81

I never considered myself a germaphobe but I always have gloves, Lysol or Clorox wipes, cleaners and sprays. One of our grocery stores do the buy one get one free deals often and I stay stocked up and even years before pandemic. This was just out of habit but I thanked God each time I seen that the store shelves were empty. Thanks to you H2S, we are also stocked on masks now. Hope everyone stays safe!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re very welcome! Glad you could stock up on what you needed!

  8. Angelynne

Yes, same situation here in southern CA. Haven’t seen any in-stores and I check daily online.

  9. Lindsey

I really hate the Lysol aerosol sprays .. it’s awful!

  10. DJ

When I read the article yesterday afternoon, I thought, now, we are not going to find them as people will run to find what they can. I haven’t seen any sanitizing wipes or Lysol spray since March. I am in North Carolina.

    • sr

You are so right. Haven’t been able to find it anywhere in the last 2 months and NOW we will definitely not gonna find any. 🙁

  11. Joni

I got lucky two weeks a go and found some Lysol on target’s website. That’s the only time I’ve been able to get some since early March. Doesn’t really matter if it kills COVID-19 when you can’t buy any!

  12. queen62

Costco had Clorox wipes in Ct.

  13. Sue

Haven’t seen any around here since March. But last week at Walmart an employee told my husband she had put some out earlier that morning and some guy bought the whole case they put out.

  14. huertac1

Thank goodness I still have some of the purple left. I saw some at Walmart the other day in MI. I grabbed a can. It’s limit 1.

  15. Evie

The reason none has been around is because other countries bought it up, during their earlier pandemics.
The reason masks were not recommended. See above.

  16. boltsmom

Check Walgreen’s – their site will tell you which stores have the items in stock. That’s how I found Lysol disinfectant spray a couple months ago.

  17. Mona

I found some in Costco. It’s hit or miss. You have to go early in the morning.

  18. shop4mybabies

a decade ago when my son had H1N1 i firmly believe lysol spray and my diligent use of it is why the rest of the household did not contract it from him. we live in 1300 square feet with 6 people so it was pretty much a miracle. i always have it on hand but was down to half a can in march. have gotten very lucky and found it at costco once, but with two grocery store working kids at home we use a lot of it. just happened to check at winco today and found a 2 pack…it was 12.98 which is pricy but worth it during these times.

  19. Rosa

Actually found THREE 19 oz cans on Amazon Fresh day before yesterday. I stared at the screen, refreshed it, and is was till there. Funny, I have had a sub&save subscription for this for the past 2 years and the last 3 or 4 months have been dicey. Got them maybe twice in the past 4 months, sometimes less than the subscription amount, maybe late or not at all.
